Andrew Flintoff has finally retired from all forms of the game. He had hoped to retire from the Knee injury to at least play in the T20 games and IPL. But after discussions with his surgeon he has decided to call it quits to his career. I think he has been a great servant of the English team and especially in the memorable Ashes win under Michael Vaughan. All the best for the rest of his life. Cheers! Ram

Yes, Andrew Flintoff has arguably the best allrounder England's team had got after Ian Botham. He was terrific with both bat and ball. He was not easy to get off while bowling and could blast any bowling attack while batting. One of the best players in English cricket so far.

Andrew Flintoff is one of the best allrounder in the world. It's very difficult for England to get a similar replacement as Flintoff. This best performance was in Ashes, where he won man of series award. During his career he has been prone to injuries. Another good player out because of injury. Wish him good luck for his future.

But actually speaking since his retirement their performances have not been that bad. I think the real test would in the upcoming Ashes. Cheers! Ram

Well what a pity he had to retire early. I still remember his game in the ashes victory.

Thats a surprise to me , thanks for sharing this information , was expecting Flintoff to play world cup and then hang his gloves ,it must be hard decision for him i am sure.Anyways he played some very good cricket and has some outstanding records to his name , we will see Flintoff in a new role i guess of a coach or commentator now.
