I just feel terrible

Hey all
Some of you may have seen my other post, but basically my friend have been hanging out with someone i dont really like, meaning i dont really get much chance to go out with them.
Anyway, one of these friends of mine i havent seen in over a year. And another goes back to uni on monday, meaning i wont see them for yet another year!
I dont know what to do. I want to see them, at least for 1 last time before going back to uni, but it seems that all they want to do is hang out with this guy who was horrible to me (basically, i thought we were friends, and he left me waiting for him in town far away from where i live, and never phone, text, or even replied to my calls).
What do i do? They always seem to be going out together, but with this horirble guy (who i cant stand to even be in the same room), but they leave soon! ARGH!

I would suggest you speak personally and directly to your friends about your feelings towards this one person.
They may not know how you feel and may be yet loyal to you or provide you with why they feel this person is such a great person.
If nothing else it will ease you a bit form wondering.

Why not try to ask your friends to go out with you for just a night, that is excluding that person which you don't like. When it is you who is setting the date you can have the choice of who's invited and not. If they ask you to invite that person then just say the truth to them. If they are really your friends, then they will surely understand you.

Do they know how you feel about the guy? If they do, and if they are still hanging out with him, what kind of friends are they?
If they don't know... they why haven't you told them? Maybe you guys are not so close anyway... and no matter how long you don't see your friends, friends will still be friends if they love you.

By the site of your description, yes that guy does look like a jerk. However, that doesn't mean that your friends aren't your friends anymore. Trust me there are a lot of jerks in the world, but for this one, your going to have to either do something about it (give him a talk) or just ignore him. It's seems sad that you'll be unable to see your friends for a whole new year, but sometime you'll just have to push through the rainy days :)
