PC games with Joystick?

I was planning to buy PS3 or Wii. Before buying any of those two, I thought of buying a Joystick for the first time and use it to check if it is interesting. I connected the laptop to my TV and the Joystick to my laptop (don't laugh plzzz..) and then played a few games (NFS 2 and Quake), these games were okay. My question is, do you know any game which can be played on PC using Joystick? I tried playing IGI1 and IGI2, it didn't have any options for Joystick. Please list the PC games which can be played using Joystick so that I can try downloading them.

I can't recommend you any PC games that uses joystick but what do you need it for? If you are going to buy Ps3 or Wii what does joysticks got to do with it? Anyway, I think PS3 is better than Wii now because of the games they added that are just like in Wii. Their wireless controllers are even better because they are separated from each other. Unlike Wii's nunchucks which is connected by a wire to the main controller. The only downside on PS3 is it's price! And you can't play downloaded games on it. I still prefer the Wii for those reasons.

Thanks for the update, Damned_dle. I tried the demo of Wii, XBOX 360 and PS3 yesterday. Wii was awesome, I tried PS3 but they did not tell me that I can use the Joystick (controller) like we use in Wii. Apart from these two XBOX is also another option, however, I think I will have to buy another part (Kinetic) to play the motion sensor games and because of that XBOX with the kinetic will be costly. Actually, I was planning to buy a gaming console, I was a bit confused, therefore, I thought before buying any gaming console, I should try the Joystick and see if it is exciting. I bought a Joystick and tried it with a few older games (NFS2 and Quake), I really enjoyed these games with Joystick. However, I was thinking if someone could suggest me a few games which can be played on PC using Joystick.

Hi Professor Ji, Here I would say, you should give it a try. Generally, in India we go by the age, people of your age simply think that these games are not for them e.g. my parents. However, I would suggest you to try Xbox 360. It has got games that will give you virtual gym at your home. You can even play games that'll burn a few calories and help you in being fit. Those days are gone when kids used to play Mario and Dave to enjoy their time. Now games are there to improve your IQ, stamina and make you a better person physically and mentally. Give it a try some time, after all, we've limited time in hand.

If you can list the names of those games that would be really great and, if you have downloaded it for free, please share the website name also. Thanks!
