For me anything will do as long as these printed materials fill my hunger for reading. But I would likely go more to non fiction books as that will add up to my knowledge bank.

I’m glad you got some good ideas for books for your club. It is so much better to get ideas from people who have read the books and can recommend them. I love to read and I wish I had more time to do more! Lately I’ve been so tired I’ve been falling asleep in my book! Good luck with your book club!

I must have missed that discussion. I am going to be interested to see what you choose with your group. It would be interesting to go to the discussion and see if I get any good reading ideas. I do not read enough or often enough.

Have fun @ your potluck/book club! Sounds like a fun activity... too bad I have small kids and I'm not an avid reader. Lots of lil "clubs" don't want small kids tagging along as I've tried to join a crochet group thru the rec dept and no dice because I'd have to bring the kids along. *sigh*
