Almost nothing for 3 1/2 weeks and now 2 jobs today. One extreme or the other.

Nope, never had a job come at all, unless you call my dog sitting a job..I guess the closest I been to having more work is like I said in your other post where I had started school and at the same time, my neighbor wanted me to dog sit..And of course you see how that started out..

I'm just keeping track of two teens and helping a friend with her store all in one day. One I get every few months and the other once a month. I haven't handed in my applications or gotten job offers yet.

Murphy's Law! I believe in fate and things happen for a reason. Maybe waiting for these jobs to become available or something. Sounds like you have had some good vibes going lately so that must have helped. I am so thankful I don't have to worry about such things anymore.

I will be thankful for that day, too. I will also be thankful when I get another day of work. Nothing is scheduled for this week.

In my area, jobs have always been scarce and donating money to political campaigns helps people get jobs. Knowing somebody gets you a job, etc.

I get so frustrated hearing about the problems people have in their areas when I have so many options where I live. My good friend in Texas was needing some options for her grandson because he was having trouble in school. Here we have great counseling, Boys and Girls Club, etc. I gave her some names of places and she could find nothing like it in her area. I don't understand. Big Bush territory and they had nothing?! I am so glad to live where I do. We have so much here in the way of help for kids. Great schools, counseling, and other programs. We are slowing building on jobs too. I feel so bad for others in other areas. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

It happened to me just last week. I've been idle for almost 2 weeks, and then when I started one job, there came the second and there came the third. All must be submitted within the day. So how can i squeezed in 9 hours for 3 jobs. Though its not that difficult, but it's quite pressure on my part because I got 3 boss for those 3 projects. I need to acccomodate them simultaneously. And as what I expected, I need to rush on my lunch and still needed to extend beyond my working hours. It's really a tough day for me, but it's all worth it.

So did you make it or should I say, "Good luck." because you're in the midst of it now?
