My friend teaches at a college. She called me the other day and said that the garbage hasn't been dumped in her room since she started, so she dumped it and will every day from now on. But no one had told them they had cut cleaning staff. They were just supposed to figure it out from the pile up.
So teachers, what do you teach and what have been the cost-cutting measures where you work?
Students, have you noticed anything different in your school or college?

There was a show on Oprah Monday and Friday about this very thing. In New Jersey. It was very interesting and informative. The young man that started Facebook was also on it and is started a one hundred million dollar grant for that area. I am lucky to have pretty good schools here in Idaho.

Our area is seldom lucky in the grant department, we're lucky if we get a minimum one to stay alive.

I wonder if your representatives in your area are really doing much for you. It doesn't sound like it. We have all manner of things going on in my area.

We have New York City to compete with, the capitol, Albany and Buffalo NY. Little country areas have a rough time competing.

I'm not a teacher or a student but think administration should have told the teachers their trash wasn't going to be emptied everyday in the classrooms. The teachers deserve a little more respect then they are getting in this case. They are in class to teach our kids.

We're always preached at on every kind of job I get, "Commnication, communication, communication!" They certainly should have been told. Most places have memos, meetings, and everything else.
