Internet is definitely a very good way of staying connected. But I know many of them including me use internet to make internet calls and messages .This some how reduces my phone expenses. But then this method is very dangerous if you are not doing it for a good cause.Anyways share me your views

I do use the Internet to save on my phone bill. This particularly applies when I'm trying to organise a random get together or event. My friends will usually create a Facebook event page (we've got quite a good track record of organising events in this way) but for me I prefer to drop them an email, post it on my blog or Twitter for them to know.

Yes, I used to use internet to make calls. There are some systems free of charge. But, these days, I have been using phone cards. Phone cards are very eceonomical too, to make calls in the country and also internationally. There are many different phone cards, some specializing for certain regions of the world. There are many choices too.

I communicate with my online friends mostly using Yahoo Messenger or Skype. Although I use internet call a lot, but I don't mean to safe money by doing that. It's just coinsidence that it suits me better to do communication that way. Besides, not many people using internet call as main communication in my country.

I have only done it once when i'm overseas. I don't use internet to make calls because i don't have a laptop to do it. I do send internet messages though as my smartphone is able to go online. I agree it really saves alot on bills because anything that concerns overseas, are not cheap at all. However, there's one disadvantage to using internet messaging, because there's a time limit of just 20mins. IF the other person did not respond within the limit, it will be resetted.
