If there was an instructions manual for life by an anonymous author, would you use it? Or would you just live and create your own life?

I think it would be better to create my own life, that way I wouldn't have anyone else to blame when things screwed up. At least I would know that I did what I felt was right instead of knowing that I failed while doing what someone else said that I could do...

I agree! We need to take responsibility in our own lives.

Hi Lore, I would probably give it a read through but knowing me, that is about as far as it would go. I may or may not find some of the advice contained within useful for my life but I would not base my life on one book written by god only knows who. It would still just be one person's thoughts and opinions. Heck, my parents were real life instruction manuals and while I, of course, listened to and considered their advice....in the end I did what I wanted and lived with whatever consequences came of my decisions. Learned lots and no regrets....gained lots too.

i could use it as a guide, i think but for the manual to rule my life, i dont think so. there are just instances in life that are uniquely for a particular person and no manual can be applicable.

I agree, somethings or maybe the most essential things you will find that not even a manual can answer.

I would read it and give it some objective thought, but I wouldn't go so far as to "go completely by the book." There is a time and place for everything, and nothing is completely wrong or right. It's all about circumstance and reasoning.

I agree, it's good to get an ideal, while being open about the unlimited possibilities in life.

It's good to have an instruction manual for life in certain extend. In my opinion, I will appreciate if there is one. Why ? I notice that today's teenagers mostly have no idea of what is life or what they wanted to be in the future. Question asked like "What do you want to do after your secondary school if you don't want to continue your study ?" Most of them do not know what to do. These group of teenagers are usually very bad in their studies / academic performance. Whereas for those who can answer the question are normally excellent in their academic. They know what they want in their life and do their best in order to achieve the goal. Well, if there is a manual for life...then it would be good..

What if the manual says, don't go to school!?
