This is one thing I have wondered about. and after reading this wonder how the teachers attend church on the days they arent in school? ACLU-crafted court order criminalizes Christianity Can any one think of how this should get an outcome on this a shame someone has to hide in a closet to pray for a lost child!

That's simply rediculous. This is supposed to be a free world. We should be able to say what we please and do as we please as long as we are not hurting anyone else. We don't seem to be living in a democracy anymore. Wake up call! Messing with our ammendents and inailable rights and such is not right.

That is good. I am glad to hear that too. Sometimes all we can hone in on is our own little corner of the world and let the others take care of themselves. That is what I have to do.

Sorry to sound so illiterate on this matter. It was quite hard for me to get to the center of the discussion. What I could get was the same statement which suggests "Court order criminalizes Christianity", which I am sure is the only one side of the story. It will be worth reading and discussing the issue if you could please be more explainable and broad on this topic.

am sorry that what you read wasnt comprhensive to you. The girls took the college to court for telling them they couldnt pray even out side of school then it goes on to tell that even the teachers werent allowed to say a blessing over an outside of school dinner. TO me this is really putting a cencor on freedom of speech!

I think it also goes agains Freedom of Religion too, I think its so sad that our world has come to this. People can't even pray for people anymore.

I always thought what you did on your own time was up to you now that is gettig awful personal. We all know that the world hates God. And it shows how securalization is taking over America. By the way, here is the link. http://visiontoamerica.org/story/aclu-crafted-court-order-criminalizes-christianity.html So according to this court order, it would be all right for Muslim to pray to Allah, for Buddhists to pray, Jews to pray (although since Jesus was of the Jewish ethnic group, it might not take long before the courts decide to criminalize that belief as well), etc. Christians in schools cannot even bow their head and say grace before meals. I think besides getting this horrible law struck down, that all the Christian teachers should do what they are doing and boldly pray when they are having their meals or when there is a situation such as lost child or someone in the hospital , etc. Sometimes one might have to risk jail. When all the jails are full of those Christian teachers that stood up, education will suffer. I do hope they do not go into the Christian schools and hail those teachers off to prison.
