What a comprehensive win by CSK

I did not think it was one sided until the 19th over. It was good match, Murali Vijay played outstanding innings and well complimented by M Hussey. Dhoni eased the pressure by hitting a six to Theron and then for a four and finish of the match. Theron is good bowler but in this match all the bowlers were looking off colour. The reason might be they had great match against Redbacks and might have no time to prepare how to tackle Murali and Ashwin, once again South Aricans shown vulnerability against spinning bowling. So, they will be having herculean task in 2011 World Cup which is played in India. The surprising aspect is that all the awards were taken away by Murali Vijay and Ahswin. This makes me very happy..

CSK always played as a team and looked like a cohesive unit ,I think hats off to Dhoni and team management to keep the team united and motivate foreign players to give their 100 percent.I personally think that IPL teams are much better than any club team playing in this tournament at least on paper as none of those teams have so many international players , only important thing was IPL teams never played together as a team and hence they were out in last champions league in first round itself.This time i think played as a unit and as a result two of the iPL teams played semifinal with CSK going on to win the tournament.Sad thing is this was the time when teams must have settled down as they are playing cricket for long time now,that is three years but teams will be formed again as the auction is in November,.That is disappointing as its hard to build a team with players coming from different parts of world.We will see a new CSK next time with may be Dhoni ,Murali and Raina being retained but i am not sure this will be brilliant like it is now.Anyways IPL is a money making scheme for BCCI and hence they will make solid money by these auctions every three years,sad thing for me is that game will be shadowed by money.Very happy for CSK though , i hope that new CSK along with other IPL teams will repeat their good performance in champions league next year too.

Congratulation to all the fans of Chennai super king. The match was one sided and it proved that Even if the Cricket moves to shorter version, The spin bowling is always there in lead. Who would have thought that The field always favorable for pacer and fast bowling could give so much grip to spinner. I think Dhoni has always favored The spin attack, that is visible in his unorthodox ways in plenty of matches. Therefore, the team plan and play was according to the plan. Here, I want to say Ashwin and Murli along with Suresh Raina were superb in the field. It was a great achievement restricting one of the favorite opposition to the mere total of 128 runs. The batting sensation M. Vijay and Mike Hussey played in their style just curtailing the hitting instinct and made through the attack. Lets hope that Dhoni is able to carry the same instinct and desire when Indian Cricket Team Clashes with the Might Australian in the coming Home Series?
