Loosing panties!

So I washed a load of clothes the other day and left them in the dryer since I was not planning on doing anymore clothes that day. This morning before I left I took a pair of pants out and wore them when I went to the store. I came back and changed into shorts. After a while of relaxing and playing video games I went into the laundry room and folded the clothes. After folding the entire load of clothes I finally realized that I lost my pair of panties. I was planning on wearing them and I am aggravated now. It's not that big of a deal, it's not like I don't have other panties. The panties that I lost were really comfortable and I liked the look of them. I'm more aggravated with the situation than anything.
How could I loose panties during the wash and dryer cycle?
Did the dryer eat the panties?
Will the dryer give them back to me once it is done with them?

I think sometimes the dryer does eat underwear and socks. I think they do get thrown behind the drum and get lost. I have a whole laundry basket full of socks that have lost their partners. I think the dryer has eaten their partners and digested them. I don't think we are ever going to get our clothes back from the dryer. I think it just gets hungery and consumes our stuff occasionally.

I swear that my dryer eats socks. It seems that I always have one left out of a pair when it is time to mate them. I would check inside of the other clothes that were in the dryer as they might be stuck to something. I usually leave dryer sheets inside my husbands shirts as they cling to them and I don't see them.

I found the panties!!! They were put back into the dirty hamper for some reason. So I rewashed them. I just put them in the washing machine with another load of clothes. I have the same problem with socks. Usually I just put the socks on the dryer and as I do all of the clothes I will sort through them and put the socks together. At one time I put a bunch of socks up in the cabinet in the laundry room because there were way too many that didn't have matching socks.

I find that it is socks that i do not get a pair of,i know that i had either put both socks as a pair in the washing machine,or in the dryer and i have even checked out both and neither of then had the sock to the pair that i had lost.I know that i am not going round the twist,i am convinced that the machines must have a collection of odd socks now,as loads have gone missing.

There are lots of things that go missing when we wash them, sometimes i find things like panties inside of clothes or even quilt covers. Then there are other times that i never find them at all or not for a few months.I am sure that other times i have put then in my dryer yet when i empty the dryer they are not there either.
