[i]Article writing on line provides a steady and continuous source of income, but one has to follow some ground rules.
First of all , when you write and submit articles, you have to make sure that you write articles that are original and your own, not copy and paste from any source on the net.
One may not get any income straight away after posting 2-3 or even 5 articles. One has to have a lot of patience and wait for the articles to become popular and get more views that ultimately generates income. It will happen when you submit more and more well researched articles .
Also, once you have established yourself as an article writer and start promoting your articles through various promotional tools, it becomes a continuous source of income.
Personally speaking, Article writing sites have been paying me the most and as I write and submit more articles the views increase and so does the income .[/i]

I agree. Article writing can be a very good source of income if someone takes the time to prepare and write good articles. Associated Content is my current favorite but there are many more out there. Great topic and best of luck in your writing.

.I too used to write for AC and Helium,both of which stopped paying for Asians. In fact I had an excellent income with Helium where I had submitted 100+ articles...Now I am concentrating on other equally good sites...all the best and happy mylotting

Hi Harry,when I started writing , I hardly knew how to format an article and made quite a mess of my first few articles.But once you are determined and perceive you really can write well...It is not at all difficult - all the best and have a nice day

I do agree with you kiran8..Originality rules first when it comes to article writing.I think if you just get serious in writing online and struggle to write at least two to three articles a day that's useful and informative for the readers then you will have steady income.I also agree that patience is the key till you get the success in writing.

Hi insulin, thanks for the response ! You know it is better to stick to may be 4-5 articles a week, that way you are able to concentrate more on the article and may end up earning more.I have written just 8 articles this month and I am happy with my earnings.They are generating 1000+ views....all the best and have a nice day

I have been writing articles myself although I'm definitely struggling to make any kind of income from my articles. I have articles on Helium as well as Triond and these are the two sites that I mainly concentrate my efforts. I don't have many articles on Triond but I have quite a few on Helium. As regards the promotional tools I don't know what they are and haven't used any such tools.
I enjoy the process of writing but I'm struggling to come up with new ideas. On helium I have been focusing my efforts on creative writing, I've tried inventing ideas and coming up with new things but it's not that easy. I think it's every writer's dream to have a book published although I don't think I will ever be able to achieve this as much as I would like to.
I think it's time that I paid a visit to those two sites once more! Andrew

Hi Andrew, Helium is a good site and I had published 100+ articles there and getting a good steady income. But unfortunately they banned all Asians, though they have retained my articles and it is still generating views, I can see that.Triond is a very slow paying site, I too write , but not very active on it...all the best

Article writing is a good way to earn. There are lit of sites today to make that possible. It can add lots of money, though it may not match the day jon income for a long time. Practing everyday improves the writing and every passing day it gets better. If you are serious about writing, it can add some additional income.

That is not necessarily true. Some sites offer upfront payments. That is why I like sites that tell you what you will be making on your articles upfront like textbroker and content authority. I don't like waiting for page views.

Hi snowy, there are sites that pay a very good rate for page views as well as upfront, and I have been on those sites for nearly 2-3 years earning steadily even when I dont submit articles. Of course one needs to constantly promote articles and when you do it regularly it becomes very easy ...all the best and have a great day

Hi ip, Factoidz pays upfront and it is one of the best paying sites today...I am concentrating on that site since I get most of my online earnings from there. It is not at all difficult to make a dollar+ a day there if you write quality articles and be consistent...

I'm just starting out writing articles for the web and there are many ways to earn money writing articles. I am more interested in upfront payments than pay-per-view payments. With upfront payments you get your money sooner but with pay-per-view it may take months even years to earn from your efforts. Writing for the web can make you the most profit for anyone wishing to earn some money on the internet.

No you dont actually needs views to earn from writing articles ng articles for various clients you can earn by each article made or with the number of hours worked. This is called freelancing.

I am also a member of some sites. But since I am not that busy submitting articles I get to earn only a couple of cents from them. :(
I think you really have to work hard promoting the articles you wrote since the income is generated from the number of views the articles have.
By the way, I am curious which site you are a member of?

Hi eureka, there is something we have to realise with article writing.You have to submit a few articles , I would say at least 20 -25 articles before you see any real money coming in.Otherwise as you say it will only be cents.This is true of anything in life, we need to work at things and be steady to see positive results. Once you do that you become interested in making your articles special and also promoting it after having established yourself, you can take it easy, while you submit a limited number of articles ...all the best and happy mylotting

Well, I can't agree more. Article writing is the most profitable online work. Patience is a virtue not to mention necessity in the field of online writing. I actually write for a living.
I earn an average of 300-400 dollars a month (considering the high dollar-peso conversion, my online earnings is way above the minimum wage in 9-5 jobs here in the Philippines) and spend at least four hours writing online.
The secret here lies with continuous effort, a burning desire to succeed and being prepared when the right opportunity comes knocking. I can send you a link in some of my article writing sites if you like, just PM me your e-mail address.

These are very helpful insights kiran. I am now loving my work as an online writer. I hope my earnings will progress faster now that I am free for the next two months. SEO writing is I believe our key to success here. With SEO writing we don't really have to work hard in promoting our articles.

I agree ip, SEO writing is important. However I never bother about it because I like to basically write about what I feel about a subject and the information that I have gathered about it . My flow of words would dry up if I were to bother about placing SEO words and starting thinking about them. I am happy with what I make and I feel that eventually if your articles are the result of hard work and relevant information, they are bound to be recognised - Thanks a lot, all the best and have a great weekend

Writing articles is one of my ways of earning money. I have to say I experienced on my own the fact that quality and originality are the most important elements. But also one must know some SEO to get traffic and also to link to and link from. At lest that's the case on the site I write. I have not too many articles, but I keep on writing. The passive income from traffic of the articles may be consistent if such rules are met.
