Are you craving for dessert after you finish your meal?

Hello! just like what ive mentioned in my previous discussions, i am really so fond of eating sweets. Fruits will be just fine, but cakes, chocolates, ice creams and pastries will be much better, yum yum! I love them really that's why after each meal that I have, I will surely look for dessert, my family also get used to it, so whenever we don't have anything for dessert, our meal will be incomplete. Are you having the same eating habit like me? Do you love to eat dessert after your meal? I will be glad to hear from you dearest myLotters!

Sometimes I do crave but in most cases I am already satisfied and would not crave for anything sweet. I have a sweet tooth so as much as possible I want to avoid my tendency to overeat sweets. Once I start eating sweets, it is so hard for me to stop so I would rather not start and forget about sweets most of the days.

Well i think its just alright for you to do it that way because me, i always over eat with sweets because if I started to taste it, I will definitely eat more and more of that sweet stuff. You've got a nice way how to at least avoid eating desserts. That's nice for you could excuse yourself from over indulging with sweets. Good night!

i used to have sweet tooth, but when i watch my diet and minimizing my body fat, i switch my sweet dessert to fruits, just 1 serving of fruits 30 min. of my meal is enough for me, but i have craving and no fruits around i just brush my teeth just to shut up my craving...

Hello! We're just the same, i do like sweet stuffs so much but if there's no available, then fruits will be enough. The only difference we got is that, even when there's no dessert around, i will still buy outside just to satisfy my cravings. Sometimes, im wondering if im already a sweets addict. Now, after I had my sumptuous lunch, I had chocolate bar after wards. I just bought the smallest bars so I could at least minimize my intake of sweets. Have a nice Wednesday!

Hi there bingskee! well, as we all know, too much sweets cause harm in our bodies. But some individuals really can't eat them even in small amount because that will cause them bad. At least you know your limits and you're staying away from something that you knew will cause bad effect on you. That's my problem, i am a food lover and oftentimes, i do eat a lot even i know that its not good any more for me. Ha ha ha! Have a nice day ahead!

Hi sweetie. Sounds like you have a sweet tooth. There is a lot here, who have their dessert each and every day after mealtime. I don't eat dessert, though. Too much sugar for this old lady. But do enjoy yourself. TATA

Hi there Ms sweetie saph! well, im really like that. Im an addict, with sweets! Ive known many person like you too. They simply don't love anything sweet and didn't mind as well if there's a dessert after their meal or none. Maybe you should have fruits instead, fruits will be very good to any one and we could be assure that its much healthier compared with sugary foods, am i right! take the best of care, good night sweetie!

Hi there! Yes, im just like that sometimes because here in our place, we do have a market day every Wednesday, wherein merchants from the nearby towns and provinces brought their products here and sell it to our market. There were huge varieties of products to choose from. Fruits was so abundant and being a fruit addict, I always bought varieties of fruits and ate them all day long, especially after finishing our meals. But just like what you said, there are times that fruits was not enough and you still look for sweeter stuffs. As for my own experience, I often times crave for something sweet aside from fruits, my taste buds are really craving for them and I simply have to control it sometimes for I will be the one who will suffer if I take sweets too much. most of the time i will seek for a fruit.but i can go with those either.i don't mind to eat chocolate, ice cream,pudding etc.but i will watch out the quantity i eat or i will eat it more than i should.

Fruits are much healthier however, but just like what you said, when they're not available, then its time to shift into other sweet stuffs! i will have one of them everyday usually as a dessert.they are delicious!i don't mind if others said it's bad for me as i just like them so much.the only thing we should consider is the quantity.so eat in moderation intakes!yummy!i wanna eat them now!

Hello! me too, just like what ive already mentioned. Desserts will always be there right after our meal. Whether its sweets or any other kind of fruits, its just okay for us for as long as there will be something sweet that could be munch right after a good meal. Only at weekends! I'm in the process of trying to lose weight and I get on with regular cycling and swimming. I don't think that having desserts after my main meal will help me with this. However, I don't think that you can rule these things out completely and it's nice to treat yourself from time to time. I may feast on a little bit of chocolate at the weekends and this kind of keeps me content inside. I have to admit that fruit is pretty boring and I know that I have the wrong attitude regarding this as fruit is supposed to be very good for you. I think that when you are getting together with family then this is different! It's nice to share a treat with the family and it keeps everyone happy I guess. As I said though, I am trying to lose weight and I have to be careful about what I eat these days. Andrew

Hello! I understand you for limiting your sweets intake because as we all know, too much sugar could really make us fat and im glad that you also understood me from liking sweets too much. Yes, ive noticed as well that many people didn't see the true value of fruits, I even knew someone who didn't eat fruits totally. I just would love to eliminate my too much intake of sweets but not forget them totally because they make me happy, LOL! Good night and good luck with your diet!

I love having dessert! :) I don't have to have them all the time, but a meal is made even better with one. hehe :) Even when on a diet, we can afford to have dessert, maybe for one meal a day and no more than that.

Hi! I must appreciate your effort to still avoid desserts for you not to gain much weight, because me myself couldn't avoid them. Im glad however that im not having problems with my oral health because i do love sweets so much. Come to think of it, anything in excess is bad. Desserts are one of those that should be taken in moderation so that we could expect a more healthier body. I should also watch my sweets intake from now on. Good night!

I love eating dessert after a nice meal, but I don't always have the time to do that, unfortunately. To stay healthy I try it to be some piece of fruit, but to give me some pleasure I have ice cream at home too, so I can have different kinds of desserts. The problem is when I eat outside home, as not everywhere you can order desserts

Hello there! I agree with you. Eating too much sweets is not good for the body, we must regulate and keep our intake in moderation so that we could stay fit and healthy but not totally depriving ourselves in eating delicious desserts. Its a good thing that we could eat delicious, sweet fruits that is much healthier and could also served as our desserts. Good night!

yes,i do crave for desserts after meals spent together with my family.we love desserts,though most of the time we always have fruits as desserts.what i am craving for is the sweets like cakes,or chocolates,ice creams and other sweet delicacies we seldom have. well,it depends on how tight our budget is,or if there's a special occassion that we do some recipes of sweets or buy instead. anyways,i really crave for it now,thanks for the topic...i feel like drooling now...

Hello! I am just like you as well. A fruit lover but still can't stop craving for much sweeter desserts just like what you've mentioned. I do love to cook too, so its a given thing that i like to prepare desserts. Leche flan is one of my specialty, i like it with lemon or dayap rind because it gave my leche flan an added zest and excitement. My friends and relatives find my ube halaya ( purple yam jam) a very irresistable dessert and always requested me to cook it. Yes! there's also a wide variation of different sweet stuffs that we could buy everywhere and im one of their loyal patrons, LOL! Night!

I'm not much of a dessert person because we don't usually have dessert in this family; and because I have a very poor sweet tooth. Therefore, if I eat something sweet like cake or marshmallows I'll have the urge to throw up for the next few hours. I tend to stay away from treats for that reason.

Hi there! Really? We're exactly opposites for that reason. But I do understand you for being that way. We have different kinds of likes and dislikes in all aspects of our lives including our taste in different kind of foods so its understandable that what's taste good for me maybe just the same for the others. It's a good thing though that you don't have to deal with problems related to eating so much sweets and one of them is being over weight. Good night!

Yep. I love yoghurt or coffee after meal. It neutralizes the tastes of the meal I had. Usually, I look for something tangy or sour.Its the best taste neutralizer after a heavy meal.:)

Hello! I love coffee as well but i like hot tea much better after my meal rather than coffee. I love to have my coffee every morning during my breakfast. I am not much of an eater of sour foods and fruits, i love the fruits which is sour but sweet as well like orange, mango and pine apple. But the likes of green mangoes or sour pomelo really didn't attract my taste. I want to try and like them as well for I know that they are rich in vitamin C which is good for our bodies, Good night!

oh my we're same i am fond of eating sweets too,i love kisses milk chocolates,snickers,cheesecake(cakes)and pineapple fruit!!before or after meals while am watching tv i have a bag of chocolates(kisses)on my lap,a bowl of pineapples or a piece of cakes.i do bring chocolates with me anywehre i go..when me and my husband will go fishing,vacation,swimming,roadtrips,ect.i always have my chocolates with me.i love sweets :)

Yes, we're so alike in liking those sweet stuffs you mentioned. I wanted to have them right now. Right after our dinner tonight, i ate a bar of chocolate and after wards, condol preserve. My daughter also ask for desserts after our meal because they were used to what i also like and they love sweets as well now. I am only hoping that i will never have tooth decay in the near future because i am so cautious about my teeth. Good night!

I used to cravea dessert after every single meal, but I found out that I have a problem metabolising sugar and had to quite eating all sweet foods. It was difficult for about 6 months, but then I lost the craving for sweet foods and now feel so much better. I eat no sugar at all these days and don't even look for it any more. Otherwise I eat a healthy diet with protein, carbs and unsweetened cereals for breakfast. _Derek

Really? well, if that happened to me, then, i will be very sad, for eating sweets is part of my life. But then, if im into your situation, then i will forced myself to refrain from eating sweet foods as well because its better to sacrifice my cravings if this will benefit my health. Hello! Im so pleased to know someone who are like me. Just like you, we share one thing in common and that is we both love sweets and yummy desserts! I just love cakes too especially dulce de leche and black/white forest variants of Red Ribbon. Eating sweets for me is something that makes my meal complete, without my dessert, then im not completely satisfied with what i ate. I shifted to fruits in season also so I could still have something nutritious for my dessert, Good night!

Hello! Good for you because as we all know, fruits are very nutritious, natural and could do wonders in our bodies. Its much better for me if I switched to eating fruits rather than desserts with too much sugar on them but I will slowly shifted day by day for I am so used in eating sweets terribly. I also love jelly ace, but ive never tried it frozen. Most of the time, when im still younger, I ate them cold after arranging them in plate because im so fond to see its different colors while its wiggling when im shaking them. Good night!

The difference is that, i love to have my dessert right after my meal and i don't like waiting for sometime to have it. Ice cream before meal?!! What a strange habit you got there, I must say. I usually ate ice cream after eating something but not before my meal. Ive never known someone like you in my whole life, hahaha! But if you're used to this and if that makes you happy, then go on. Well, fruits are very healthy and good for our bodies so I'll say yes to that as well. Im a fruit lover as well and im so glad that fruits are abundant here in our country and many varieties are much cheaper when they are in season so ive got the chance to really buy them always. Really? Well, we're opposites! but I honestly understand you for being that way. We're different individuals so we also have different likes and dislikes. And for me, that's the spice of life.
