I was given this book from a collection of my great grandmother's. I am not sure who chose to give me the books I am glad that I received it. I've read the book before but the last page was missing and it's such a delicate book that we are going to keep it but to read it again I have purchased another copy. I can't wait for it to get here, as I want to read it again. Have you ever read this book or any by Grace Livingston Hill? It is about a woman who after her adopted parents die goes out to find her real family. I forget the whole gist of the book as it's been years since I've read it. Let's discuss Grace Livingston Hill. I have a few more books from hers coming and I believe a few books more that were gifted to me from her if I'm not mistaken. I don't know for sure as they are put away in storage. Please recommend any of her books and I will get them at some point.

Yeah I am sure there's no new ones either. I don't think she's still living. I did enjoy her book Brentwood and hope I enjoy the others I got, I forget their titles.

I h ave read books by her in the past. They are sweet and old fashioned and very moral. You could read a lot worse. Neat that you have this things that belonged to your grandmother.

Yes they were my great grandmother's books. I remember a shelf off in the room where her piano was in I believe. It was a room with at t.v., a loveseat (or couch I forget which), a bookshelf and a sliding glass door out. You stepped down, and there were lots of windows like a sunroom. I've got a few of Grace Livignston Hill's books coming my way and will probably order all of her books at some point. I know her Brentwood book was a wonderful read. I enjoy reading books written back in the early 1900's, or books written about that period of time.

I have read so many books by Grace Livingston Hill, I can't remember them all. It started off when I was thirteen, and a friend of my family who knew I liked to read, gave me about 15 of her books. I read every single one of them. But it has been so long ago, that I don't remember any of the specific titles.

I believe I've only read one but I might have read more. I know I joined the book Brentwood and so got it and a few more. The one copy I do have of brentwood was missing part of a page, I did say a whole page earlier I believe but now that I think about it I think it was just half of one. I may collect all of her books.
