Guy you like likes your best friend

I have personally never had that happen to me. Any guy that I genuinely liked... eventually found out about it and either liked me too or got to know me and became my boyfriend lol. I always got what I wanted.

Only once but it was only fair because she liked a couple of guys who liked me. That guy ended up dating her for about 3 weeks then he started hitting on me, I realized what a total jerk he was, and that my friend deserved much better than him. Actually neither she nor he knew that I liked him when she started dating him, I didn't tell either of them, so it is not like I was trying to get him or anything. I do agree that guys are attracted to confident girls or women.

i think any guy who would go for your friend isn't worth being a guy for you. the same thing goes for your friend. if she comes on to him or flirts with him knowing very well you like him, then she isn't much of a friend for you. you will find someone who likes and will love only you.

what happened to me was the opposite the guy that my best friend really admires had a crush on me & even courted me which made my friend to be a little distant with me. i was very sad that time and a little irritated with the guy because even though i told him that i didn't like him & better find someone else because he said that he doesn't like my best friend he still continue following me at school.

yes, not all, but this had happened to most of us. When it happened to me, I just let it be. I got hurt at first but just a little bit coz it was just a crush. My bestfriend kept it a secret at first coz maybe she doesn't want me to get hurt or something, but when she had already the strength to say so, she even was surprised coz I congratulated and hugged her. I was so happy for them. Eventually they broke up coz the guy was a jerk- he cheated on her. In the end, I was so thankful that it didn't happen to me. The guy was a complete loser.

whe still in high school. I also liked a few friends but I don't like any more. After college I tried a few years before you are familiar with my classmates in high school. But this romance lasted only haft month. With I realize that as you work together better as lovers. Now sometime we still come together as friends to chat normally

It is possible guys are attracted to girls who aren't trying to impress them. A girl who isn't even paying attention to them may be a total turn on to a guy. I don't think I've really had this happen to me. But then again I have been with the same guy since I was only 15.

Hi there! This type of scenario is very common especially among teenagers. You like the guy, guy likes your best friend who does not even like the guy. And the sad part is that friendships get broken because of this. And I do agree with you. When a person wants to impress somebody, he or she becomes somebody he or she isn't whereas if you act naturally, that is where you are most appreciated - for who you are. And I guess that is why the guy ends up falling for the one who acts naturally.

well yes, it had happened to me....and i am just happy for my best friend, because she liked by the person i like....even tough it hurts in my part but the hurt does not stay long, because i am happy for my friend too....

Ya it has not happened to me but it has happened to one of my friends it was like she used to like a guy but he used to like her best friend but the best friend of that girl was in a relationship before it self the guy who is in relationship knows that that person likes her in it has now become a love quadrilateral...
