Some girls menstruates late, which is normal. But just to be sure, better make her see a doctor.

..Hi.. have you brought her to the doctor? because I think there are really those who have their menstruation very late.. you better consult a physician about her case.. but don't make any conclusion yet.. maybe its not yet your sister's time to have her menstruation..

Indeed there are some people who have problems with first menstruation. There are faster, some are late. But look at the age of your sister now, you should immediately take him to the doctor in order to know the exact cause.

It could probably be that she's a late bloomer (getting menstruation at a late age) and this may be normal for her body. However, if you still have doubts, you can seek professional help on this. Try Googling a health website or a teen health website and contact the professionals in the advice columns for advice on your sister's condition. I'm sure she's not the only one out there who's having this problem. I hope all goes well for you and your sister =)

There are two types of amenorrhea: primary amenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea. Primary amenorrhea is not referring to the menstrual period at age 16. Secondary amenorrhea occurs when previously menstruating but then stopped after a period. If women are sexually active and healthy, the pregnancy is the most likely reason for delayed menstruation. But if not, needs immediate treatment.

HI! I am not an expert, but my cousin had the same problem. She had her menstruation when she was 16 years and few months old. My aunt was so worried because most girls would start menstruating at the age of 9-13, she was just so glad when she had her menstruation at long last :)
