I do not know what has happened in court but we where all wrong when we said the Owner of the Dog would plead not Guilty Her and her Partner have pleaded guilty I only know this because I have received a Letter that they have Compensation Money there which the Judge ordered them to pay me, I was shocked as I did not ask for any, it is a small amount which the Judge said they are to pay to me out of decency as I had not claimed against them, also as I had asked if possible not to put the Dog to sleep, they have not ordered that but they have to make sure it is always under control because if something like this ever happened again the Dog will be put to sleep I am happy that the Judge has not had the Dog put down So this is the end of it, I really hope, unless she decides to still be pathetic and stupid about things Thank you everyone for your support on this I am just happy it is all over now and the Dog is still alive Would you be happy?

OMG Gabs...THAT'S WONDERFUL NEWS!!! This really shocks me as I NEVER dreamed she'd go so quietly. I don't trust most people; so don't be surprised when she continues to try & intimidate you. She may very well keep the dog on a lead while they walk, but she may very well still decide to go out of her way to walk her dog near you & Gissi once again in order to intimidate you. Do you think this person might be Bi-Polar??? The person you described before does NOT sound like the person you're describing now...soooo, sleep with one eye open & walk with BOTH open!!! GOOD LUCK in your dealings with her!!!!

If this crazy woman still continues to do this after court then Gaby can get a restraining order against her to keep her a certain distance away from her. I'm sure she would not have a problem getting it at all after all she has been through with this woman. She has even come to Gaby's door going off on her! Bad, bad woman.

If this woman continues to harrass Gabs, or let's her dog off the lease again, Gabs can still bring a civil suit against her. And this time I'd make sure she went for the BIG bucks!

She may not do anything; but she does seem to have a screw loose, so I'd be preparing myself just in case she does!!! I had forgotten that Gabs & Gissi will be moving I hope it's far enough away this wacko woman won't be close enough to walk anywhere near them!!! I know Gissi will miss his field friends; but I doubt he'll miss the bully!!!!

I would've been very happy that she plead guilty, maybe they got some legal advice that told them the judge would be more lenient if they did? I think the judge was very smart to have them pay you, people pay more attention when they are forced to hand over money. Its like a "wake up" slap in the pocket book. And of course telling them to keep the mutt under control, well, that's a no-brainer... I know you've made some friends there, but getting away from this person... well, at least you know her dog won't attack you again after you move.

Yes, I'm also glad you got some money out of the ordeal. If you can spare some maybe you and Gissi can have a nice dinner to celebrate your winning the case.

Well this was one time I was very happy to be wrong! I'm glad the judge ordered you to be compensated as he obviously saw it was all her fault. Don't be surprised if later the dog is put down because she is just plain wicked and doesn't seem to care one way or the other about this dog. I'm sure it will be running lose again and will bite someone else. They are being lenient in this aspect to her. I'm sure glad this is over for you gabs, and I hope she leaves you alone now. I think the reason she pleaded guilty is that she saw you were not backing down, it was just threats from her to make you do this...just scare tactics that didn't work.

Happy for you Gabs, perhaps their legal counsel advised them to plead guilty so the case will end immediately and that their punishment would be a little lighter. At least Gabs the decision was in your favor and maybe the owner would learn their lessons. Take care Gabs. Hugs to you dear.

Gabs, I would be very happy. Problem being you paid a high price already ya know? Still the dog is alive and with proper control measures, the dog might be a very good dog. It's been a long trip for you. You won. God Bless, quita

Hi Gaby. I'm glad it is over but I still wish it hadn't happened in the first place. Hopefully the dog will be controlled. What a shame the judge didn't order a dog obedience course. That way, the owner MIGHT have learned something.

I would have been happier if the dog had been removed from their care. This is an obvious case of abuse and neglect on their part and the dog should have been removed and they should have had to pay a hefty fine. Still, I'm glad that you are happy and satisfied with the outcome.

I would be totally pleased. The thing is the dog and his owner needed to be send to obedience school. The judge should have ordered this of them! That along with not putting the dog to sleep is what I would have asked of him, along with he must be on a leash and under control when he is out. With someone walking him from now on. Gaby on another note. I just saw on the Good Morning Show here a vet telling about dog baths and that the reason most dogs are brought to vets is from allergies and itching! He says inside babies should be have a bath once a week to be rid of the allergens that cause them grief. I usually wash mine once a month in a bath tub and in between I use a very wet wash cloth with a very mild and watered down shampoo and then rinse well still using the wash cloth. They love it and we don't have to deal with pollens.

Let's see. If I was in your shoes.......yes, I would be happy that the judge honored my request to not put the dog down and that the owners did the right thing by pleading guilty. The money is nice because it was not expected. Ok, back in my shoes.........I am glad all of this business has finally been settled. Now you can focus on other things and your anxiety will be a bit less.

Hi Gabs. I'm so happy that this ended the way it did, especially with the crazy dog owner pleading guilty. Also, what a nice bonus for you to find there is money for you! I just HOPE it's over and you don't have any more trouble with this woman. I hope she and her partner both understand that this is OVER and don't try to pester you. I'm also glad to hear that the dog was not put down but it would have been nice to hear that the dog was taken from it's insane owner for obvious reasons, her not keeping the dog on a lead, and put up for adoption to someone who knows how to obey the law. Anyway, I'm happy for you that this is now behind you and you can put the stress this has been causing you in the garbage. One less thing to worry you!

That’s a good result and I ‘m happy for you; you will be compensated and better than that it’s all over and no harm has come to the dog. I was surprised that they pleaded guilty too, it sounds like someone may have had a word to them. It is one less ordeal to deal with gabs; I hope you don’t come across this woman again any time soon!

Well blow me down with a feather! After all this woman said and did, I am shocked that she decided to plead guilty. I am so happy for you Gabs because I know you were worried about going to court. Your patience has paid off, and rightly so. You had a decent Judge it seems, because he listened to you also about not having the dog put down. I am so happy for this outcome for you. Hugs and hugs and more hugs! xx

hi Gabs I am ecstatic f or you as this is the best outcome, you are to get some recompense which you do deserve and she did plead guilty, that really surprised me but am glad she did and all is at an end. Oh you know it could well be that her dog acted that way because she might nbot have been a good dog owner and may even have been abusive towards the dog. bad dogs like bad kids are not born that way, but are made by bad dog owners or the bad kids by poor parenting.I also hope this now ends it and she never haunts you again. Hope you and Gissi are doing okay now that the dog saga is done. hugs to your and little Gissi.

Hi Gabs! Am so happy that this is over and that you did get some kind of satisfaction, even if it was only a little! I do hope that you never see that woman and her dog again. It was really nice and humane of you not to insist that the dog be put down. Considering that the dog attacked you and the female police officer I am surprised. I am very much against putting an animal down, but also afraid of those that will attack without provocation and to the extent that this dog did both attacking Gissi and you! I'm not sure that decision was the best in this case. But, as long as both you and Gissi are ok and you don't have to deal with this again you can try to put it out of your mind. I know you have enough other stuff to deal with~ Love you much, Les, Star & Lunatic
