When I was in high school, I went to school by bus. I walked to the bus stop. And I walked to school from the last bus stop. I went on foot about 3 km each day. Though a bit tired and time-consuming but it was really good for my health, it was an exercise to improve health But now I am to lazy to walk. Although go about several hundred meters, i also use motorcycle. I don't exercise regularly. I feel so weak. I know it is not good for me, but I don't still change. Because I am lazy. What about you? Do you like walking?

I think I walk quite a bit. There are more steps taken then I count. I tend to go outside and take a lot of walks when the weather permits. In fact, if something is in reasonable walking distance, I tend to walk, rather than drive. Not only do I get some exercise and I remain healthy, I also save money. So there are many benefits in walking. Still I enjoy walking both outside and inside as well. You'd be surprised how often it is overlooked that you don't necessarily need to go outside to walk. You can actually go walking around your house. It might not be much but at least it is more than nothing. Every little bit of activity helps. So yeah, I enjoy walking. It is one of my favorite forms of exercise.

When I am at home, I prefer to stay in bed and watch TV. I find myself too lazy to exercise now. Thank your suggestion!

usually around 300 steps

It seems a bit less. I think the number of steps you take in a day in your home is enough for 300 steps.

I haven't counted how many kilometres do I walk each day, but probably more than 3. I like walking, and I have to walk anyway to go to school and to go to work, so I do exercise and keep my body healthy at the same time. Also it's nice to see the details of the streets at your own pace, when I used to drive I never had the time to notice those things, but I'm glad I can now.

If my school was near my house,I would go to school on foot. I know walking is good for keeping body healthy. if the weather is good, it will be great to see the details of the streets while walking. But if it is bad, we will feel tired. Although the weather is fine and mileage is short, I still like going by motorbike than walking. I am afraid of walking.

I love walking, but I must admit that while having a car makes it that much more convenient. Technology today make us really lazy, although the intent was for convenience. However, I will purposely walk to the local store from time to time, but it is a very short distance, funny though my boyfriend will get in his car and make this crazy square trip to get to this store, while all he had to do was walk there, but he won't. He says why when he has a car. Ugh.. I would not go in a major square and look for parking when all I had to do was walk there and back pretty quickly. Not only is it good cardio exercise but also saves gas.

I am afraid of walking because of many reasons. I want to go where I need quickly. I don't want to waste much time on travel. Besides, the disadvantage of the weather and the dusty streets. I think the most basic reason is I am lazy, and I am afraid of hardship.

We know it is not good for our health. But it is difficult to change our habit. Simply we like so. That's why smokers know smoking is harmful to their health but they still do. Those habits are all harmful but only different in degree of damage.

It differs a lot! Depending on if I work or not that day. Some days at work I take walks for a couple of hours and take over 30000steps, other days I only walk about 100000 steps. I think my maximum amount of steps - when counting that is - are about 50 000. I do like walking, but am lazy too - so when I'm at home I don't walk as much as I should.

I don't have any car no motorbike either. I walk everyday wherever I go, including going to work though I need to take a train at some point. I'm still loving it and it does not make me tired and make me wanting to get a car at all. I hate traffic jam so I don't desire having a car. But of course I take a bus or a taxi when I'm going somewhere long distance lol but for shopping, meeting friends, going to the beach, going for a meal and all those things we do where it it nearby to where we stay. Good luck and have a nice day!

I always liked to walk, on reasonable distances of course. I haven't a car, so I'm forced to do all on my own. Go to the supermarket, to the school a few years back, and now to the work, I go walking to the train station, around 1 km from my home. And all that bits sum. Overall, I should be walking nearly 2 or 3 kilometers daily.

I love to walk. I do at least a mile and a half every day after work. In work I am constantly on my feet, up and down stairs etc. I had a pedometer to count my steps, but have misplaced it. I was taking about 6,000 steps at work each day, close to 2 and a half miles.

I walk a lot on school campus but I do not walk to school. I drive a car to school and I do not really count how many steps I walk each day. I enjoy walking, a good way to exercise a bit.

You know I haven't counted the exact number of steps yet. But you've planted the idea on my mind. I walk a lot. My apartment building is just a 10 minute walk from my office building so I walk to and from work everyday. So that's a total of 20 minutes already. Not counting the times that I go out to buy something from the corner store or if I have to run errands. I like walking. It's very convenient. And I love living in a walkable city. That means I don't have to worry about finding a parking space or finding a spot to lock a bike and worry about paying parking fees.
