In newspaper and the salesman claimed that the New Proton Saga 1.3 is the most economic car in term of fuel consumption. I am having a Year 2010 Proton Saga 1.3 Automatic transmission. Just to verify the statement which I heard earlier, I have collected the following data in my journey. 1st Trial - Mostly highway and minor in town, 12.95km/Liter of gasoline 2nd Trial - Solely in Cheras Town, 9.0 Km/Liter of gasoline Do you think the consumption of the fuel as above can be considered as economic ? Have any of you tried to figure out the fuel consumption of your proton car? The price of gasoline is going higher and higher. It is concerning me very much in my financial budget. I just hope I can get the advice and comparison in regard to the improvement of the fuel consumption.

I never really study how much my car fuel consumption, but from what I experience is when you drive a proton wira 1.3 and compared to proton iswara 1.3, the proton iswara 1.3 consume much lesser petrol than the proton wira. And the different is so clear. I still do not know that whether the New Proton Saga 1.3 is the most econimic car or not but I don't really feel that it save that much of fuel. I feel that it is almost the same to a wira.

I was having a year 1997 aeroback 1.3 Iswara, manual transmission. If I am not mistaken, the consumption was 10.5Km per liter of gasoline.
