There is nothing new in the blog you linked to, except for maybe the convenient math that changed "didn't know" to "not believing"....but whatever. While you may be able to obtain a copy of your actual birth certificate, with everyone's sigs on it, not everyone can. In Maryland you can only get a COLB...the same holds for Florida. Both of these I know from personal experience. There are experts in every field and they can make whatever claims suit them. If you are interested in looking at a technical analysis that takes you step by step through the various ways that the COLB that was on the web could have been faked, and which proves that it was not, take a look at this site...unless you're not really interested in facts. This is not a political website and, in fact, proved that a photo of Palin that had been circulating on the web during the campaign was a fake. Sorry, But see under the defintion of the courts he could of been born in any country in the world and still retained his citizenship he may of had dual citizenship but that would not bar you from being a Natural Born Citizen. McCain when he was born also had dual citizenship as he was born in a foreign country on a US Base. As for the COLB not being equivalent to an BC that would be a false statement as it is equal to a BC just a simple version of one I have mine from Arizona and it is a COLB stating I was born in Mesa Arizona. I was able to use it to get my SS Card as I lost mine. It was proof that I was a citizen and had a valid SS number. Well if it was a serious issue Congress would of brought it up and they haven't why because they are satisfied with the evidence. I am sorry but that blog on blogspot.com really had no clue about what it was talking about because under its definitions McCain would of been unable to become president of the United States. Also the president has to gain Top Secret Clearance in order to meet the requirements to become president. Which means he is investigated by every Executive Branch that has Top Secret things going on both here in the United States and in other countries Across the World which is a well known fact as the every president has at one point had Top Secret Clearance which is removed once they leave office. So your telling me that everyone working in these agencies (DOD,CIA,NSA,DHS,FBI and any other three letter agency under the Executive Branch) wasn't able to find out where the president was really born even with him hiding it. The amount of people needed to keep information like that quiet I mean they couldn't keep the NSA Wiretaps from the media. I mean really how about you actually focus on something more important than this thing of if he was a natural born citizen. As he was COLB means that a Certified Birth Certificate is on File in Hawaii. I mean really it just seems like he birthers can't stop talking about a subject that many are done with and that is why so few care to hear the arguments when people know of the amount of background checks required for the Job. If it was a mistery for congress they would be screaming and go through the Impeachment process they aren't because they are indeed satisified and no where in the constitution does it say he has to put his Personal Information out their to the General Public sorry it just doesn't state that he does how ever have to give it over to the Federal Government before he can even think of running for the office and once he gets the approval Ie passed the check he can proceed on to try and win the hearts and minds of his/her fellow US Citizens. Which he did and then we get these birthers who know little about our government and seem to not understand that congress is the group that controls the president with the help of the Supreme court keeping them both in check.

If the Republicans take power on Nov 2,2010 I think Obama's citizenship will be broke wide open. John McCain had to prove his American citizenship now it is time for Barack Obama to follow suit because it is the right thing to do for the country.
