Yesterday i said i will not come on mylot again....

Hi delkar, Are you complaining about no more ideas of new discussion? But I saw you've been doing fine so far. Let me complain about the lack of new discussion ideas. I've started only 44 discussion so far. Well, I know how hard it is to write in English when your mother tongue is Romanian. I'm not a brilliant English speaker either. But don't worry, nobody care how many spelling mistakes you make here. MyLot says nobody should criticize members for bad/broken English or bad spelling. Everyone is welcome at myLot, here are users from all around the world and they are welcome regardless of their proficiency with the English Language. All you need is to want to answer to others discussions. This will surely help you improve your English and there will be no more days when you want to stay away from myLot.

Mylot is a good place to practice your English. There are times when I would just browse and read the discussions but I do not have any response for it. I don't really mind, I enjoy being here in mylot and I do not want to pressure myself by giving myself a quota like I have to make this certain number of responses. Besides, I find it hard to count the responses that I make in a day and I admire those who are able to monitor and count theirs At least they have an idea of how much effort they have to put into mylot to meet the payout at their preferred date.

Hi Delkar, Yes, It happens to me pretty regularly. Sometimes I just can't get into it for whatever reason. I can't think of a single discussion to start and nothing really grabs my interest. It's not that the discussions are bad so much as I'm probably just not in the mood for typing or sitting on this computer. I do what you did. I take a time out and get involved in other stuff and when I come back I usually can get into it again. I can only sit here for so long anyway and I have to get up and move around and do other stuff.

Some come back after several months and start mylotting again.I think you weren't in the mood yesterday and it's true that some discussions can be difficult when your primary language isn't English , but with time things get better.If you don't find anything interesting, try creating your own discussion about something you like.And don't forget to edit your interests and add more of them because you will see more discussions.Remove those that are boring.

HI, Although your main language is not English,you can always write some responses in MyLot and it definitely help to touch up your writing skills and you will learn more new vocabulary. For me, my main language is not English too,but I love doing MyLot. It has helped to improve my English and I have learnt different cultural from different countries and of course, I can have more friends from different part of the world.

It is called writers block. Sometimes it is hard to find new and interesting things to talk about. Sometimes you just have to take a walk outside, go to the park and sometimes you can draw inspiration from what you see all around you. A lot of people have this problem.

You shouldn't give up! Your English is good. I know it must be hard when English isn't your native language, but you can do it! Remember, the more you read and respond, the better you'll get at it. So good luck to you..I hope you stick around.

I understand the feeling my friend, I just hope you pass by Mylot on your free time or whatever time possible to you. It is a site that can improve your way to converse in English. There are many nationalities here that English is their second language including myself but that does not stop me to participate. Keep on participating to topics that you can relate and express yourself. Don't be shy because Mylot members are not here to criticize your sentence structure and the way you converse.

I had and have this problem too.. I think that is a problem with most of us whose primary language is not English... what I do is I start a discussion only when I get a good idea of discussion or need some help.. if you are not good with English ..try to keep your sentence as simple and short as possible..

Hello Delkar, MAYBE YOU'RE JUST BEING TOO HARD ON YOURSELF. Mylot completely understands that most users in this site considered English as their second language. and I happen to be one of them since I live in the Philippines. but I never consider in my life not coming back to mylot just because i couldn't say anything anymore. I think this site is the best for you since you wanted to learn about english. be patient, you will get used to it in time. well, i have a hard time myself, but i simply can't answer all of them. unless it's related to me in some way. Well i don't have much problem in english but the real hard problem i have is that i can't seem to stay away from mylot. I am so addicted to it now. It gives me great pleasure and fun while i am at it. That's the problem i have. I also come on mylot also every 12 hours and i post and comment on discussions and i get on a lot with my work also. I wish i would slow down and i have to study as exams are coming soon! Cheers!
