I have a job. My parents have jobs. My older brother has a job and so does his wife but why is money always not enough for our expenses? What I get is enough for my necessities but I cant not help when I see that my relatives need money. End result is... I get my paycheck. send money home and barely have enough left for me It's sad and I don't want to sound like I am complaining but I just wnat to know.. Is it only me or do some of you experience this too? Pls share... as you know, misery loves company.

I am also confused about this one. Even if you have work with a good salary still it's not enough. Your wants and needs also increase. The more money you have the more expenses you spent. Maybe this means we must be contented of what we have. We are trusting ourselves that we can have it because we have money, without knowing that it is not enough if we calculate it thoroughly. I learn from my mistakes that is why from being not contented because I have money that I can buy for something even it is not needed, now I only spent money when it is highly needed. All of my salary I used it on my offline business.

it pleases me to know that some people are doing things to get solutions to their money problems.i know so many people who makes loans to solve their problems but they end up with bigger problems. i hope ur business does well so you wont have to worry about money not being enough anymore

if you want to have odd money, the basic rule is spending less than making. U should accept your poor situation and continue study and work hard to make money . sometimes buy lotteríe to try luck. i also need money very much. good luck to u :-D

Hi sweetie. Money will never be enough as life gets more expensive each day. We just cannot keep up. What we can do to change that, i don't know. But somewhere something should happen very soon, to give everyone a breather when it comes to salaries, buying and trying to save. TATA.

It's hard living paycheck to paycheck. Wish we could find a way to earn more. But I guess w are still luckier than the ones who really have no means of income.

For an effective budgetting, try to compute every single thing like transportation, food, utility bills, shopping, money lent to relatives etc. From there, you'll see where you need to adjust so that you can save for your future and a little bit for your recreation activities. Be mindful of how much you give to others because this impacts your cash on hand and cash on the bank. Sometimes, we cannot always help others by lending/giving money because during emergencies you'll find yourself helpless with no one to turn to.

hi ddaguno I am right with you.its the cost of living for me living here ion C alifornia US thats part of the problem and also I and my son were sharing an apt. when he lost his job, and my small social security check a yr and a half ago did not help much. so we ran out of money a nd we were evicted, homeless so my son found a place for me here at this retirement center, sadly it takes almost all of mysocial security and my SSI check for b eing partly disabled. so I have money problems just like everyone else I know. thats why my earnings here go to pay for m yt internet so I can use my computer and enjoy life and mylot a lot lol. so am sending hugs to you and do not feel at all alone a lot of us are experiencing the same feelings. we all have worked, I am retired and had savings but they were depleted trying to help my son with the humongous rent. he finally does have a job and maybe one day we can afford to share an apartment again.

A satesfied need generates another need . That`s pretty simple. As more you have, you will need more. If you have a job , then you need to pay the bus or the gas for your car to go to work , and a lot more . Maybe you should try to think a little about your spendings . Maybe you can save some money if you buy cheaper things, maybe you can stop paying for some services, and so on .

Hi delkar. I have no problem with my spendings. I've learned my lesson about spending beyond my means. My current salary is just enough for me. but the problem is, I have to pay for some expenses that my family members cant carry. These are necessities like my nephews' immunization. My sis called asking for help and I cant say no, but I really dont have extra cash right now. It feels bad not to be able to pitch in.

No, it's not only you at all. I'm sure the majority of us are experiencnig this. I know that I am, not so bad, but I'm in debt a lot because I refuse to let all of my paychecks go just to bills (lol) so I charge stuff occasionally because I feel like I deserve it. (This is not good..Don't do this lol). The problem is that either we need to cut our expenses so that more of our paychecks can go to fun stuff like entertainment, shopping, or whatever, we need to make more money, or we need to allocate our money better - budget, and be careful of what you spend your money on and where it goes. We just gotta make it work. Whether that means cutting out some monthly service (IE: Cable/Sattelite TV), working more or getting a higher-paying job, or making a better budget that you can stick to.

It's true that we never seem to have enough money. There are always expenses. Combined with our needs and our wants in life, there just isn't enough money to keep us happy. I wonder if there ever will be.

Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, poor Dad) said that there are 2 problems in the world. Not having enough money and having too much money. I hope I reach the level of having too much money in time. I am working on it and I know it's not easy but if i get enough money, don't worry. I'll share it with you.

Don't you worry. You are not alone in this world. It happens to me all the time. Sometimes I think it is because the paycheck I got is too little for my needs or what. What happened to me is, every time it comes to the end of the month, and it times to pay bills, this money fight will happen. I send money home and got not enough left for me. Sometimes, it is even hard to pay my own bills. And what I have to do is drag here and drag there.. Fyi, I never shop expensive things. I just buy monthly needs. And that's all I spend.. You are not alone.. ^^

Hi there, ddaguno! I appreciate your concern and wanting to help your relatives eventhough you left a little for your own good. When we try to think about it, really money has never been enough. When I was earning a little,we try to live as simple as we can, but you see my family can still enjoy to stroll in the mall every other week. They never know that I have started to apply loans in our cooperative. When I reached my salary that I can be proud of, still money was not enough. Why? Because my loans accumulated and everytime I finished a loan, another type of loan is being offered and again, I can't resist not to apply for it. I have also experienced loaning for my aunt's need, my brother's need and when you see my payslip, deductions lined up were longer than my earnings. I got fed up, so I applied for the company's offer of voluntary resignation. Now, I have my own business but the financial freedom that I am dreaming is still far from reality. How I wish I have this continuous money cash flow, a passive income for my family.

that's my dream too. I'm working on it but getting a passive income takes time. What business are you in now? You're in the Phil right? What kind of businesses would be good there now?

i think that money never enough for single people also because everything needs money and in amny cases things are not chep and so you should always have a definite source of income or they wouldn't be enough for almost all..

I really understand, what you feel. Because I also feel the same. I suspect, there are many people who feel the same. Very difficult to manage finances. The money from work, always is not enough. I am very confused, what methods, should I use to manage finances.

I think that making plan to spend money is problem here. You and your family can gather, then you will make a schedule to spend money. I think you'll know why the money is never enough.

I totally understand where you're coming from. My personal finances are a mess! I was living from paycheck to paycheck and up to my neck in consumer debt. Living like this was very stressful and I decided to finally do something about it. There are very helpful blogs about personal finance that you can check out. They have tips on how you can create your budget, how to live frugally to save money, and how to pay off debts. My advice to you though is to track your expenses. I use an excel file to do this. I keep track of everything I buy, even the smallest stuff, everyday. You'd be surprised at the little ways that you could be throwing away money. This activity helps you become mindful of your spending and will also help you set a realistic budget based on your situation that you can easily follow. Good Luck! :)

don't live paycheck to paycheck. first save 1/10 of your earning for around a year or two and then invest that money in something that will generate some passive income every month may be it can solve your problem.

money will never suffice anything, it's not the money at all, it's the way of life it falls into, the cost of living, let me put it this way.. a carpenter only earns enough to suffice the days need, so needs to go to work everyday for that matter, coz, if he doesn't, they won't have anything to fill his family's tummy. I'm sure he'll be more than happy if he could get his hand onto and additional dollars. while a neurosurgeon earns way more than what the carpenter is bringing home. But he' needs to take care of a lot of stuffs, mortgages, educational plans, vacations, retirements and tons of several things else.. now if you where to look at the pattern they are not different after all. They are Both working for money, they've an almost equal income and expenses column pattern, THe surgeon makes more money than the carpenter, but just like him, they have the same cash flow figure. so money is not enough? because money isn't the problem, it's the way of life and the cost of living.
