Does making money online is truly a myth?

I'm really tired of the hype that scattered in the internet. There are sites who offered paid surveys but you must pay its membership before you can take the surveys. there are sites that offers writing work and also asking you a money for membership. there are sites that offer programs that will make you money through google adsense. There are sites that offer you to make money through blogging. With all these hypes, I doubt that these sites will ever truly help the users to make money or it seems that it will take your money away by scam. Are these overhype reviews and offers truly reliable as what they say? Does making money online is truly a myth?

It's my first time to join a website(mylot) which claim offer paid when you reply to other's thread or post your own topic to attract more people discussed like what you did...I was heard of this website from my friend and he told me it's a reliable site to earn money online,I registered two years ago but i seldom say something because my english was quite poor that time,and i just see what other's talk about and learning basic english here,i think it's quite a nice website for me to learn english,and now i could also say something or reponse to other's threads,i could feel my english improved a little bit,i don't really care about too much if i could earn money online in this way because my purpose here is to improve my english level,of course if i could earn money at the same time,that would be great!
But for what you said you tried some sites that need to pay money for membership first,i don't really believe that...because too many scams like that ask people to pay first...It's risky...

Making money online is not a myth, trust me when I say that.
I've been earning online since 2007, have gone through several scam sites that have paid then stopped for no reason, and have found several good paying sites out there.
While good sites are hard to find, they are out there and you just need to know what to look for.
Finding sites with good track records isn't easy, but they do exist. I am a member of several sites that are reliable, a few of these sites are fairly new, but at the same time, many of them are older and have been around and proven that they do pay out.
Any program that you have to pay for is generally unreliable and unsafe, should be avoided to protect yourself.
You'll find the right programs, I know I have and have a slow, but steady income from them.
