How is your self discipline?

How do you organize your online work? Do you have a schedule that you follow every day or a goal that you try to achieve every day/every week/every month or does your work depend on your time, mood, energy and do you have days were you work a lot and days where you hardly work at all? How is your self discipline when you work online? I don't have a schedule. Sometimes when I am very busy with my offline job, I don't have much energy left for my online work, but I usually try to get some work done every day. I think it is better to work half an hour instead of nothing at all. Some days I am able to spend quite a lot of time online, and on those days I try to make good use of the time. I take some breaks where I play at couple of games or chat with my friends, but most of the time I focus on my work.

My self discipline is rather average. If there is something that I am bound and determined to try and stop doing, then I will most likely succeed. Not always but there are times where I really can put my mind to do something and it may take a lot of effort, but it does lead to a tremendous amount of success. I stick to what needs to be done and get it done first, before I move on with the rest of my life. However, let's face this fact and one that I learned a lot of the time. If my heart is truly not into something, then my self disciple really wavers. There are times where I can put off something or not do it right away, because I am dreading doing it. I doubt I am far from the only person who is like this. There are many people that I know that are like this. You can really have decent self discipline but if your heart is not in with it, then it can be like pulling teeth by hand.

That is a good point. I have experienced the same thing. I am usually able to achieve the goals that are really important to me and I work hard for the things that I really want to achieve. It might take a lot of time and a lot of effort, but if I really, really want it I am usually able to achieve it. If my heart is not in it, I tend to lose my motivation and it is somtimes hard for me to finish the things that I plan. I study online and it is easy for me to get my psychology homework done. Sometimes there is a lot of work to do, but I love it, and it is not problem for me to study for many, many hours. When I study subjects that I find less interesting it is much harder for me to get the work done.

Mine is strangely good with some things (such as work, I was also very good at school, and online earnings and finance and personal finance) but not with everything. I still wish I would have better self discipline with working out for instance, and remembering to do facials and stuff like that. So there is still room for improvement!

You sound a lot like me. In many situations my self discipline is very good. I usually manage to get my work done on time, and I when I study online it is not a problem for me to get things done or achieve my goals. I like the freedom and the independence that I have when I am able to plan things on my own. In other situations like working out or eating healthy food my self discipline could be a lot better.

Well ,speaking of self-descipline ,i feel some kind of shamed .Previously ,i thought i was self-discipined .But i was wrong .I am not what i want to be .It turns out that i am not capable of controlling myself ,especially in terms of time spending online .Every time i sit in front of my laptop ,i spend too much time surfing online .Although i know it is harmful to my health,i just can't get rid of it . It is time for both of us to take a further step .

Most of my work online, can say almost 70% on the internet, I worked in the IT field as a technician ISP (Internet Service Provider) so there had been schedule to be always online. Sometimes I want to open any more confused? In my free time to spend time for discussions on MyLot, playing ninjasaga on facebook, download movies, looking for extra money, etc. I think I'm always online when working so just limit working hours only, when at home I use the time to rest, sometimes right off online too.
