do you use a tote bag as a purse or a regular purse?

I prefer a tote because I can kinda just throw everything in there in a rush. I use a tote instead of a purse because they are harder to snash like purses are and they can usually hold and endure more then a small purse can.But when I am not using a tote I throw on a small backpack.

No, I have a big leather handbag that I use most of the time. I do use tote bags when I go to the supermarket though, and if I have to carry something big around. But most tote bags are not structured enough to be able to protect stuff, which is why I prefer a sturdier bag on a day to day basis.

For work, I use a tote bag as a purse. I can keep my wallet, a make up bag, a drink, lunch, and anything I need for the class room (usually chalk, spare papers, ect). It's big enough to enough fit a little purse. However, if I'm not working I use a tote and purse. Usually, just a purse if I'm not working.

I usually use tote bags when I go to the beach. Totes are usually big and bulky, and made from coarser material, so I don't use them as purses much. Maybe if I found a nice leather or cloth one I would. I prefer using regular purses though.
