My husband won on a $5 scratch off ticket, $20, so we went to the movies. RED

That was funny. All old people kicking butt. That was fun. Overkill with the bullets firing forever at times, but fun. Some good one liners had me laugh. So if you wont $20 and could do something fun with it, what would you do?

If I could spend $20 on fun instead of bills, I'd probably have lunch with a friend. I miss being able to do that on a regular basis. Glad you won and had some fun!

Yes, that would be fun for you. Usually we have to save any winnings for gas $, so I was very surprised when he suggested it. Thanks for responding and take care.

That's really cool. The most I've ever won on a scratch off ticket was $2. But if I did win that much I'd probably just use it to buy food or something. That's when my siblings and I get to hang out together, over food. So, the money could be used towards buying ingredients to make something at home or we could put it towards going out somewhere to eat.

There isn't much on right now, Secretariet might have been interesting, but my husband wasn't interested in that. Have to get it some day when it comes out if we have $.

Yeah, I can't wait until Harry Potter, even if it will be a part one and we have to wait forever for part 2.

I used to win quite a bit before everyone around here started playing. I would probably buy my daughter, grandson and I dinner. A movie would be nice but there is nothing on right now that all of us could go see and enjoy. My grandson is into Spiderman and Transformers. I am not in the mood.

I never win anything but another ticket on those scratch offs...lol...I have pretty much stopped buying them. If I ever did win, I would probably get one everytime I walked in the door..I might go to eat or put some gas in the car and head for a cruise through the mountains. The leaves are beautiful this time of year.

I'm like you. That's why my husband does the gambling. He wins quite often. You're right, it is beautiful this time of year. We have to hurry, tho, our mountains have gotten snow 2xs and the wind has been in the 30 to 60mph range here. Leaves are leaving the various areas fast this year.

I want to go and see Life as we Know it. The one with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. Next on my list is Red. $20 could get me a night without cooking.

That sounds like you all had some fun together, that is great. I have won several amounts as well. The largest was $500 which went towards the rent. We just happen to be behind at that time. Other wise other times we would do something fun with the kids that we couldn't afford other wise. Movies, out to eat, those kind of things.

we each won $100 a month apart a few years ago. Really helped with gas and a small bill. Sometimes winnings do come in handy. Thanks.

$20, a dinner at Chili's or something 2 for $20.. just have to put a little extra for tip and tax out of my pocket though but a nice dinner with my boyfriend would do :) I don't like going to movies because it's crowded and I rather wait for the movie to go out on dvd or to watch online! Glad you had a fun time though! :)

We don't have a Chili's, bet it's nice. huge theater, only 10 people. Matine during the day during a work week, hardly anybody there.
