We talk a lot about good movies but there are also the bad one's. Some are so bad they become cult classics. To me the '50's ws a big time for bad movies. Some of the classics are "Plan 9 From Outer Space", the original "Little Shop of Horrors", and "Attack of the Robot Monsters." What are your nominees and why?

oh there's some bad ones I've seen. off the top of my head, are two which my stepdad rented several times because "they're meant to be good" and then they were so good he'd forgotten he'd already rented them and they weren't. Ginger Snaps and Rancid Aluminium. if he rents them again, we may have to beat him over the head with them. and another he only rented once. it was one of those low budget films that comes out with a title similar to a current popular film to snag the unwary. well my stepdad was one of the unwary, and rented The Da Vinci Virus. it was awful. I can't even formulate in my head what it was actually about, it was so bad.

lots of people love it. it may be worth watching, just in case you're one of them. just with the four of us, ranging at the time from around 25, up to around 45, none of us liked it. it's a fairly typical exploration of lycanthropy as an analogy for puberty and developing sexuality. if the idea appeals, I think that The Company Of Wolves did it much better.

Some of the worst films I have actually sat all the way through include "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", "Mars Attacks!" and "Monster in the Closet". Most of the REALLY BAD films I've seen, I have turned off before getting too far into the film. Perhaps the worst movie I ever saw an all-star cast in was called, "Once Upon a Time in the West". Charles Bronson, Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale, Jason Robards and Keenan Wynn...and a HUGE waste of celluloid!!!

Sergio Leone, father of the spaghetti western. To me I had trouble with the film because I could tell it was foreign and a lot ofthe voices seemed dubbed in. There were all those close ups of the faces. too. I had a ittle trouble with Henry Fonda's appearance in the movie too because his hair color just didn't seem right. Then there was the periodic playing of harmonica notes.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (which has a sequel) reminds me of the movie "Dark Star" where one of the crew had an alien pet that looked like a beach ball with Creature from the Black Lagoon feet stuck on it. Te scene where he tries to feed the alien some lien cabbage was a bit funny. Te beach ball shifts weight before kicking the cabage away. And talk about low budgets, the mode ofthe spacecraft was carved out of a bar of soap and the control room, made up of a bunch of flahing lights, was done in a weekend. It's hard to believe but Dan O'Bannon, who made and starred in Dark Star, went on to work on the movie Alien, which luckily had a bigger budget.

In Bollywood, that is the name given to Indian, rather Hindi cinema, we have 'B' and 'C' grade movies which are remake of some famous old classics picked up from any language and they are made into the movies. You will be surprised to know that these movies some times just made to be sold on CDs and DVDs to local market and these movies hardly have any big budgets too. The producers and the directors are local people and the characters in the movie are regular citizens who have their professions but since thy have craze for movies they act in these movies. Like local Hair cutter can become a villian in a movie, or a tractor driver can become a Character artist, a college going youth can become a hero of the movie. These movies take less than 2 to 3 days for their completion and the artists are very nominally paid by the producers who themselves are making a very small amounts after selling these movies in the market. I have witnessed one of the film being shot on one of the TV programmes showing about these people . They were possibly shooting James Bond, they wanted to show that James bond is landing with the help of a helicopter. For that purpose they have used a toy helicopter attached with a thread and thy have used this to give an impression that actual helicopter is flying and with cut shots they have made the scene where in the hero appears to landed down from the helicopter. So if this is the quality of making of these films , it will be better not to talk about the quality of these films. Oh yes, these films are made on regular basis in a town Rampur which is near Mumbai and if you want to enjoy these movies as comedies then you can get such movies on any footpaths in Indian cities! Thanks for the discussion , indeed it was a great one and I enjoyed participating in it!

For bad low Budget films, "Battle Beyond the Stars" which starred some fairly big name actors but was a bad sci remake of "The Magnificent Seven" which was a remake of "The Seven Samurai" as a western. The planets were rubber balls hanging on strings and some of the spacecraft were made from spray cans. Of course, in Plan 9 the spaceship was an inverted pie pan. In robot monsters, the robot monsters were dressed in guerilla suits with diving helmets.

The worst movie I have ever seen have to be "Fallen" with Denzel Washington and is the worst movie of Denzel Washington. That movie was so boring that I fell asleep, my parents fell asleep, and even my uncle fell alseep when we went to watch this movie at the theaters. The people that work at the theater had to wake us up. I would never watch that movie again.

Travolta produced that mess. It was based on a book b L. Ron Hubbard, who started Scientology. Luckily, the movie was so bad, they didn't do any of the other books in the series. (I think there were 9 more.)

I only watched the first Harry Potter movie. It was bad enough to kill even any curiosity about the future films.

I dont know if I can literally pick one movie. There are a few that come to mind such as Night at the Roxberry, Joe Dirt, plump fiction... Night of the roxberry my one ex and his best friend were in love with and would say all the lines from it all the time so my friend and I decided to rent it to see what it was like. It was so stupid we couldnt even watch it all lol. Joe dirt was such a dumb movie that my ex and I walked out of the theater half way through it and went shopping at wal-mart. Plump fiction we accidently rented instead of pulp fiction. It was just like a comedy poking fun at the real movie.

The worst movies for me are the lord of the rings trilogy, x-men installments, avatar by james cameron. They just plain sucked. I'd rather watch straight-to-video releases by disney than watch these horrible movies.

I have seen many movies when i have free time and i find that some movies are not so good. The episode is too simple and there are some horrible scenes. I don't like the movie: ghost rider. how do you think of this movie? pls tell me your opinion.

I haven't seen this one. If you are talking about where a guy turns into a flaming skeleton riding a motorcycle, well that's not high on my must watch list.
