Yeah, it is good to plane a head, but this much a head, is just nothing than annoying. I prefer to plan for my week and go according to that, but over here, over here not 2010 but 2011, I think if they can do for it then can do for 2050, why you didnot asked them that you want hamper books for 2050...

I think that all the adverts on about next year are getting soo many aswell as there seems to be more of them on the tv.I do think that it is a good idea to plan ahead,as this can save loads of money aswell as tiome in the long run.I feel that there are lots of things that people can pay for in advance and alot of the time they are ok,but to plan that far ahead for next year is just abit early.

It is like one, except that you pay all year and when the things that you want are paid for then they send you the things that you have ordered for chrismas.I think that it pays to be ahead rather than behind,as this way there is less to worry about.I use to hate getting things out of a catalogue and then having to pay this years gifts all the following year.

lol =D That's one year in advance!! hehe ^_^ UNless they are the professionals in the line, if not common people like us need not bother to plan that much ahead! It's not as if we are so busy in our daily lives that we have to set everything in place, a year ahead.. hehe ^_^ Even for chinese new year, we start our preparation about 2 months before the actual thing, but for organisers and all, they are already planning when this year's celebration had ended.. hehe

I plan ahead but always leaving an options. There's thing that's beyond our control so we must have alternative if ever plan A fails, plan B is to the rescue!

I think that you are right, that we should have a back up plan if things that do not work ou.

Definitely i do plan things in my life. it is hard for me to not plan things ahead when it comes to crucial things or situations that involve decision making and other people. However, in life unexpected things happen and sometimes its beyond of our control. So, we should be prepared to face them and think of an alternative plan to back the other one just in case it does not turn out the way we originally planned.

I am soo pleased this year that i have got all the things that i want aswell as need ready for christmas,as this way there was far less to worry about.I feel that this early planning for next year is not good for everyone,as we are not done with this christmas yet.I think that i will be starting next christmas just after this christmas, not right this minuite, but i am thinking of paying lump sums of money aswell so that i am finished paying earlier than this year.

I try to plan ahead sometimes, but I know that I can't always plan ahead, sometimes I just have to go with the flow.

okay, you are going to have to explain to this "colonist" what a "hamper book" is... Over here a hamper is where you put your dirty clothes...

I am looking forward to this Christmas. Well, that is nothing new, but this year I do not have a very big gift list. I am mostly just going to enjoy myself together with a few close friends. No shopping in stores for me!

I am a planner as well. Of course, however, I am married to a man that never plans. Has no plans for today, tomorrow, or the future! Let me tell you it drives me crazy! I have to be the one that does all the planning. I have never heard of a Hamper Book, however I did see you explain it. Is that something they just have in the U.K? or do they have it in the states as well? I guess I will try googling it.

Hiya jugs, Although I would love to be able to do that. You will find very few of those kind of things in this Country. Planning ahead is not in there minds in particular. I wish it was in a way but I have had to get used to their ways and that´s it. I can just about plan any kind of meal let alone next Christmas 2011 (grin). It´s good for you to able to do that though in England as it has become a custom to do that. How I wish it would take off here. They have never even heard of a Christmas Club you know saving for Christmas Presents so I have my own little Club going just for myself. I´m not complaining though I manage quite nicely thank you. I can just imagine what is in those Hampers over there. They do have Hampers here but they are only put together a few weeks before Christmas and more often than not they are used as a Promotional gain more than anything else.

It's good if we can plan ahead all things. But I often break it. So, I don't plan things accept earning money.

What is Hamper COmpanies? I can't do much for Christmas. Guess if I had planned more a head it would be better. Definitely not looking toward 2011 yet. Ugh!

I don't give gifts at Christmas. The adults want nothing and the children want everything and appreciate nothing, so nothing is what everyone is getting.

I'm still not completely clear about what a hamper book is, so I can't put a lot of input into that one. However, I do know that they are already starting to push the Christmas Club for 2011 at our bank because it is too late in the year now to start saving money for Christmas this year for us to buy gifts and such. In this kind of situation, I think that it is a great thing to be able to start early. In fact, I'd like to start a Christmas savings account for next year and put about $25 a week into it so I will have plenty of money for my Christmas shopping in 2011.

That is the right attitude, we look at the coming year with optimism. This means new hope, another year but with better prospects. Let us just enjoy what we have this Christmas 2010 and welcome the following year with a joyful heart.

Yup ! We plan a lot . And a lot we plan ahead. Planning ahead is welcome if one is going to implement it. Plans always tend to change.

U are early. It's too far ahead for me to plan for christmas in 2011. The earliest planning i do for everything is about 3 months before the actual event. Anything early is too early because they are last minute changes from others or even myself. For hamper companies, they have no choice because they are doing businesses after all.
