I went for my children school Halloween parade, almost all the kids dressed up in this event. Spider-man, witch, princess, ninja, penguin, dinosaur, dragon etc which was spectacular. Teachers and staff are all dress up too! They dress-up as Queen, Harry Potter, Baby, Ballerina, Chef, Hot-Dog, Ice-cream etc. Some of the parent dress up as Giant players, Tinkerbell, Bee, Princess and ghost. Upon arrived at office, some of my colleagues to participate in the event which makes the entire environment being cheer-up! Honestly, I did not dress up as I am kind of shy. But, on the other hand, I enjoyed the entire atmosphere and viewing people in costume. So, will you dress up during Halloween?

Before we and all our friends and siblings had kids we used to have or go to Halloween parties where we would dress up. It was always fun trying to figure out what to wear. But since we all have kids now the dressing up is left to the kids and Halloween is pretty much all about the kids now. We don't all get together as adults anymore. We just take our kids Trick or Treating.

Same goes to me. And, the best part is this year after the treat or trick, my children told me that they do not want to go trick or treat next year.

I grew up not being able to experience dressing up for the halloween. Here in our country, trick or treat activities were not yet common or famous years ago during my childhood. Halloween was basically celebrated through airing or presenting scary tv show or documentary specials. As years go by, halloween celebration here evolved. Now, there are a lot of halloween costume parties being held in different establishments and organizations from October to November. Trick or treat activities became popular and many children today along with their parents participate in this once a year celebration. Shopping malls are a popular trick or treat venue for them. If ever I'll have a chance to attend any halloween event requiring a costume, I'll probably choose a real scary or frightening character like freddy or jason or a possessed girl like in the movie exorcism or a zombie or something. I don't like to wear something cute or comical, I'll just save it for the kids. I think scary costumes will set the halloween mood for me more. =)

I only watch the parades but I don't wear a Halloween costume. Some of my relatives invite us to join their celebration but I'm really interested in dressing up like a fairy or a girl vampire. I'll just eat and watch their program end.

Fairy and girl Vampire is awesome! Pretty indeed! While I am "lotting" in library, I saw kids and teenager in their costume. WoW!

There are several parties or should I say costume aprties in our place during halloween but it is not as much celebrated in our place as in other bigger cities. There aren't any children coming to doors trick-or-treating with their costumes. The costume events are usually in private parties or in commercial parties, but I think that it is okay for me because I am not really a fan of the whole idea actually.Although, I guess it would be cool to see the creativity of many in their costumes. Still, it isn't too big a loss for me. So, anyway, may I say, Happy Halloween to all!

I so want to dress-up for Halloween but i never got the chance. Here in the Philippines it's not much of a big deal unless you are living in an exclusive village here. (For the rich people) They have trick or treat but for other places like the ones outside villages... We don't have. But I really want to dress up like a ninja! HAHA
