What was or is your favorite costume?

Mine was a clown costume that was also clown pajamas. I just took off my hat and my Mom took off the huge ruffles around the neck and I was ready for bed. My Mom didn't have $ for pjs and a costume both, so she bought one in the same.
My husband's favorite was hobo, wore the older males' old clothes in the family, put some soot on his face, got a stick and a bandanna, filled it with rags and he was off.
His sister loved tutus. So she always wore one.

I used to love to dress up. This is the first year in forever that I have done it though. I dressed up like an evil punk rock fairy..LOL...it was interesting. I liked dressing up like a cowgirl and I loved to do a vampire too. I never was the princess kind but I love doing my girls up when that was what they wanted to dressup like.

So what color and style was your hair or punk rock fairy one?
Cowgirl, that's pretty much what I looked like for my wedding. They now have a cow girl Santa's wife costume for Christmas that I see in Oriental Trading Company.
Vampire, I'm more the weirwolf type. We could hang out and pretend we were from the show Dark Shadows with one of us as Quentin and the other as Barnamus Collins.

I like the gypsy costume from my childhood. I could use my mother's jewelry and wear the gypsy top and elastic belt with the full skirt. I loved that! And ofcourse i needed alittle make up to rose my cheeks and add something to my eyes. Ofcourse now my kids enjoy putting on the blood and gore of the vampire outfit. SOmetimes my daughter goes all green and witchy too.

if I were to wear a costume,I would love to wear a goddess costume.I like those one-shouldered dresses worn by Greek goddess.I would have a laurel leaf on my hair.another nice costume will be a Japanese geisha.I would wear a bright,red kimon with lots of flowers in it.
