Delaware TV station "forgets" to air paid O'Donnell campaign ad - TWICE

Later yesterday evening Christine O'Donnell tweeted to her followers a call to watch an inspiring television program about Delawareans on Channel 28 at 11:30 pm. A few moments later, she tweeted "This is NOT our program". And it wasn't. The station claimed a mix-up in programming, they "forgot" to air the 30 minute spot that the O'Donnell campaign paid for a week ago. So, they promised instead to run it today at 10am and 3pm. Guess what? They "forgot" to run it again at the 10am slot. I don't know if they will again suffer from amnesia at 3pm. You can see the spot at this url: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/11/01/AR2010110102898.html?hpid=topnews I think there's no doubt that the media has picked its favorites and their chosen ones that they provide positive coverage of and those they continuously decide to show only negative coverage of or ignore entirely. Channel 28 is a public access channel, however, not part of the major network-controlled media. Do you believe they simply "forgot" or are even local access channels becoming as politically corrupt as the major networks?

I would say once could be a mistake but twice is either planned or total incompetence. She has a case of Breach of Contract against the station. Someones head should roll over this.

It's a small local access channel so it is possible it is not run as efficiently as a larger network affiliate, but if they cannot manage to fulfill a contractual duty then they may deserve to lose their license.

Sadly, it's also nearly predictable.

They didn't forget and I hope she sues the pants off them! I just heard about this on the radio and was just appalled at this blatant breach of contract. Did you hear about the reporters plotting to smear Joe Miller of Alaska? Politics has always been dirty but our media has reached a new low.

I have heard of the Miller controversy and also seen the spin first hand from the left. LOL, they are calling for the "unedited" tapes, trying to intimate that Miller edited them to make it seem bad when it was all innocence. Even the TV station isn't trying to claim the tape was edited... sheesh. I think the left will spin this as an innocent mistake or somehow blame it on O'Donnell.

Surely. It's possible. It's also equally possible I might sprout wings & fly to the Moon. Anything is possible... Maggiepie "The only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself." ~ Benjamin Franklin
