Well these days I use myLot from my mobile device. As with, yahoo, gmail, hotmail and many other site which provide light version of the originle pc sites, myLot should also start a lighter version for it. It would really helpfull for people like us who don't have pc but only mobiles, isn't it? How many of you use it via mobile devices?

I have been hearing alot about this type of thing and am thinking seriously of getting a mobile and using it. I do like having the big screen and full usage though so it is a hard sell for me. I have never even texted yet if you can believe that. Techno wiz no, not I!

I don't know that I would sell it. Pawn it perhaps like I did my last one. I will be looking into my options. I used to have tax money this time of year and buy my new PC with that but now that I am retired I don't have that option so will check out the ones on HSN and their payment plans and then go from there.

Okay, so you are retired. How does it feel, I am sorry but, I feel that being retired is a mixed feeling, I mean you are happy because you do not have to be under 9 to 5 kind of life. On the other hand it may give you a feeling that an income source is no longer their. I am sorry if I asked too much.

It's too difficult to use by mobile, too many page downs just to get to anything...

This is a great idea. Actually I already had such a thought long time ago because I like to use my cellphone to surf the net. It is very convenient even if I am outside without computer. However, Mylot doesn't have a proper design for cellphone users. And therefore it is too difficult to post in Mylot if you access it by the cellphone. I love China

mobile phones - devices used to communicate electronically
I think this is a great idea! They are doing more and more with mobile devices now adays. I did an entire project on m-learning for one of my college courses. You can pay for a train pass online with your credit card and then use your mobile phone to scan at the train station as a ticket in Japan. I'm really sure mylot could probably make some kind of mobile site. I would definately use it. I had to take a 13 hr bus trip last weekend and was so bored. I have the internet on my phone but not many sites have mobile versions yet. If I could have mylotted the entire way that would have been great. Also, on my lunch break I am often on my own and get bored. I often browse the internet on my phone. It would be great if I could respond to a couple mylot questions on my lunch break.

I won't say that I can use net from my mobile for 13 hours, that would be too long.LOL But it is impressive that you did an entire project on a cellphone. Also these days more and more cellphones are coming which are 3g enabled, hence there is a more chance that people will try and use net through mobile devices, isn't it?

I use my beloved laptop and I do have a phone with internet access but I find it too awkward to use the phone to navigate around the web! I guess I would use it if I didn’t have my laptop but I would probably prefer going to my local library and use the net there!

Hi Paulla, how are you? I am using nokia 5235 and I must say that with full touch screen this model provides more convinient way to surf net. For the last two days i m using only my mobile to surf and even post discussion or reply to discussions. The speed is no less than pc, so if mylot provides a lighter version i can do it much faster than noq.

I do use my mobile phone when I am outside and don't have a computer on hand. Though it is a little bit inconvenient as am used to typing on the keyboard with lightning speed, the mobile unit is so tiny that I have to be very careful with the key. It is slow but still usable.

I use my mobile to surf internet only when I am not close to my pc or lap top. You cannot participate in real discussion through mobile, it has its own limitations.
