We know 'necessity is the mother of invention'. During this long history of human civilization, different machines were invented and they all helped in the progress of human civilization. They all did a lot for the welfare of mankind. But now it seems too much dependence on machines is making machine the master of man, which is not desirable at all. Machine should be the slave and not the master of man. What is your opinion.

Yes, machine seems to be the master of man now. And whoever is able to control the machines, are the real masters behind man. Even u are the CEO of big companies, they are still slave, slave to the world, and slave to the master of machineries. Because once machines break down, nobody knows how to resolve the problems, companies have nothing to rely on and they lose business. MAchines are really important to humans now, but that does not mean we should leave everything to it.

hi DoctorDidi we need our machines but we also need to use common sense as the machines are to do our bidding not the other way around. So all we need to do is use moderation which I know for myself is hard with my computer. I tend to stay on here too love] and the result is swollen legs and tired eyes. So I must take breaks between mylotting sessions to save my eyes , get off my feet and relax a bit. I also think people should not spend all day up to bedtime plumped on a sofa watching the televsion. couch potaoes soon grouw rogunt in the tummy and gain too much weight. we neeed to walk, to run, to get outside in the sunshine for awhile.

Indeed and that is why moderation is the key. Particularly when we use our computer, we are prone to radiation also so we should know to take care and use these wonderful machine into moderation. Actually we do need machines to make our work easier and better. But we should not always be dependent on it particularly if we are saving electricity and saving some money. As for me, I don't use my washing machine everyday. I schedule my laundry to save water and electricity. We only need discipline with regards to using our wonderful machines. It will also prolong their shelf life and we can also save money for that.
