Jeans small pocket

Anybody who ever wore a jeans pant has seen the small pocket inside the right pocket. It catches my curiosity as to why that pocket is provided although I've never found any use of it or haven't even seen anybody use it. Do you know why it's provided?

Hi there Dutta D1! Yes, I have worn pants with small pockets like what you have described, not that I have noticed, though. Actually, this is the first time that I have given them some thought. I don't remember using it specifically for something, though. I also have no idea what they are for.

Hi! I also don't know what is the purpose of that, if it's only for design or whatever. Me, I put my paper bills in that small pocket, to secure my bigger bills from pickpocket, we Filipinos put money in our pocket aside from purse. I think it's more secure that the larger pocket.

It's where you put bills. It will be hard for thieves to pull money since you can feel it. My money is much secured. I have a hard time pulling the money as well.
