Has anyone ever tried hypnotherapy to help with a fear? Did it work?

Im asking because my mother has this fear/phobia, which is now starting to rule her life. Its very difficult for her to deal with so I have looked into different things that could help her, the doctor has given her tablets to help her nerves but they dont really help with her phobia, so I came across a clinic not to far away from us that does hypnotherapy. Im waiting for an email off the person who does it for details and costs but I was wondering if anyone has had any success with this? Im willing to pay for a session for her (as long as it isnt going to bankrupt me) but I think with hypnotherapy they need to do a few sessions, I can't imagine that the sessions will be cheap so it would be great to hear off someone who has done it and can share their experience and whether it worked. Thank you!

Hypnotherapy is just like any other therapy. It's a conditioning process that focuses on the mind. I've studied the field independently, even tried out some hands on, and i found out that it actually works. Why? Cuz It uses a naturally occuring process we do to ourselves.

You studied it? Do you mind if I ask if you know of anyone who has overcome their fear of something with it? Thank you.

Yep. A friend of a friend came to me for help. She wanted to neutralize stage fright. It took me about 3 two hour sessions with her and i kept track. It was tedious as i'm not really a professional but i'm happy it worked with her. She's the only client i've had.

Thank you for your help, I think my mother is going to go for it so can only hope that it helps her the same way it helped your friend.
