What do you use to prevent chapped lips?

My lips are chapping every time I use lip gloss or lip balm. Am I using the wrong ones?
What do you use to moisten your lips?

Yes, I am using chap stick for chap lips and it is working good for me.
I remember when I was young, I had this problem very much specially during winter, then my grandmother used to give me a little milk cream to put on my lips like chap stick before going to bed and it was really working for me, but that was old remedei and I think now a day this chap stick is really very good, if you can then mix a drop or two of lemon with a little Vaseline, it is also effective for chapped lips.

And let me tell you lemon is good for some people but i am telling from my experience after when i applied on my lips i had swelling all over so better check if it is suitable for you.

It does sound like you are using the wrong ones indeed. I personally use Smith's Rosebud Salve, which is great. But Vaseline products are great too!

I also have never ending issue about chapped lips, I guess I was born with chapped lips and dry skin. I use lip balm whenever I apply lipstick or before going to bed. AC and cold weather makes our lips chapped even better. I suggest you find the brand thats right for you. I am using maybelline now but I think nivea works much good for me.

Oh, I think we have the same problem before but not now. I use petrolium jelly or vaseline over night and in the morning my lips doesnt chapped anymore when I put lip stick or lip gloss. A friend recommend that to me, and because Im using that products over night, my lips is moisturized in the morning so I dont have to worry even though its really that hot in our country too!
