We always make it a point that safeness of our home is ensured before we go to our work or anywhere. If we are the lat person to leave our home we do some safety measures before leaving. Personally before I I left our house I checked all the appliances s and turned it off and unplug the socket except the refrigerator that needs to be turn on all the time. I also see to it that I have close the gas range and turned off all lights. I have a classmate before who have their house burned because of the appliance that are left unplug. How about you? What are the things you do before leaving the house if you are the last person to leave the house?

It is a must to check everything before we leave the house. I always instruct my kids to check their room before they leave, unplug the electric fans, and turn off their lights. I always remind them everyday, even if they are used to it,so,it is automatically done each time they left their room before going to school. Safety measures should always be observed in every household, not only for our own safety but for the neighborhood too. Have a good day always

Well... Everyday I come out from my room at same time for my office and do same thing before starting to lock my room... First I try to rememebr whether I have to take anything which I need at day time...then check my purse. When I checked my bag and find everything at right place ... I pray for some time and then I check all light and fan whether it's switch off or not ...then I lock the room and start from there ... Thanks ...

I usually make sure everything is turned off, fan is off and nothing is on around the kitchen of course. I also always make sure that the door is definitely locked a few times and and check my bag if I got the house and room keys with me. My partner always forgot to take the key with him and it is always causing him a lot of trouble after getting back from work. Have a nice day

I normally check all the things to be turned off, then the door if all's locked. I pray then for safety before leaving the house.

I always make sure all the doors and windows are locked. I live in a 2 story house and to save money on the air conditioning and heating bill, we tend to leave every window open. It's extremely easy to tear down a screen and break into a house, which unfortunately in my area, we have had near misses lately. We have many doors in our house and not only do we make sure that the outside doors are locked, but also the door going into the house from the garage. Due to the near misses lately, we leave all of the lights outside of the house on at night. A good thing is that someone in my family is almost always home. I live with my husband, father, and grandmother, while my mother and step-father live next door.

We always make it a point to check the safeness of my home at home as well as before leaving. I will make sure all electricity appliances are switched off if not in use. I do things then and there and make sure after completing the work I switch off which avoids my last minute rush. However, I just take a glance before I leave my home everyday to ensure safeness of the home. Afterall its our home where our favourites and loved ones stay.

I make sure I have my wallet, keys, and other things. Then I make sure the dogs have food and water, and I get them each a treat before I leave. Then I make sure all the doors are locked, and make sure that I have my coffee if I happen to be leaving for work in the morning.

I check all socket and make sure all appliances are unplug. I remember one time when all of us happy and leaving our house for a vacation and forgot to check all socket, we returned back home the taxi we are riding and there I saw electric fan still on.

Well I double check that I have my keys, cell phone, money and my student card. I also make sure the windows are closed, the doors are locked. the gas is off, nothing like my laptop is plugged in. My dinner for later is out of the freezer and in the fridge. Then I guess I take off

Normally I used to see to it that everything in the house is in order and safe. I used to switch off the main switch, put off all the lights, check the stove and remove all appliances. I see to it that the windows are closed and doors are locked. Whenever I'm not sure if everything is in order I usually get back home and re-check the house.

For me nothing is safer when GOD guides you.. so i'll pray in the back of the door before i will leave the room and i think that is already the best that we must to do for us to be safe from unexpected events..

If I'm the only one inside, or the last one to go, before leaving the house I make sure I've turned off the television, the lights, the stove and pretty much anything electric that could waste energy or be a hazard. I also make sure I have my wallet in my bag and my keys. Finally, when I step out I make sure that I've locked the door behind me and that the garage door is shut as well. Doing all those final checks make me feel really secure.

Before I leave the living room I turn off the computer and unplug it. I also unplug the stereo and make sure that that the garden door is locked. Afterwards I check the kitchen and make sure that the coffee maker and the stove are switched off. I also remove paper and similar things from the area around the stove to prevent a fire in case the dog switches on the stove by mistake. My parents' dog once did that and I have been very careful since that time. I also made sure that the windows are closed and the lights are switched off.
