Subbing woes

Subbing has been steady for me and overall pretty good. I enjoy working with children. However, two offputting things happened to me. One, I got a half day job. At the end of the day, they asked me if I wanted to work the whole day. I said ok. However, they didn't report it and I only get half salary for that day. Also, the boe forgot to add a whole day I did on another occansion. Thankfully, the boe listened and is going to add my day next check. Has anything like that ever happened to you? What's your job?

Smartie- Years ago I had issues like that when doing temp jobs for an agency. They were always very good about fixing things so that eventually I would receive payment for it. As I'm currently at home raising children the only thing that has occurred is not being paid for tarot readings. With friends I've always done them on a "donation" basis but after doing many and receiving nothing, not even a dollar for my services I've had to begin setting pre-paid fees. It's just one of those things that occurs in the business field I suppose. Namaste-Anora

I think sometimes people think they can treat temp workers unfairly. When many times, the work of a temp is harder than the regular worker. I try not to get into money issues with friends. I think it can cause a lot of problems. I hope your tarot cards bring in a lot of revenue.
