So I was reading this little ditty about what not to wear at the airport if you don't want to be molested by the gestapo. The list includes earrings, under wire bras, metal fasteners/buttons and belts with buckles. Don't wear clothes that are loose and a whole slew of everyday items. We are not talking obscure outer wear we are talking under wear and snaps on babies' onesies. This is so far over board. So far. I am glad I do not have tot ravel by plane anytime soon and I will state that if this continues we never will. I will not risk my little girls be poked prodded and violated because they wear an under wire bra or have a metal button on their jeans. Disgusting just disgusting.
Check the list out especially if you are flying over the holidays. You may have to go to the store for a pair of too tight scrubs just to get on the plane with out harm. Whose the terrorists now?

All bras are done up with tiny bits of metal. In the winter a lot of people will be wearing a coat. Loads of people wear jeans with a metal button. My two young children wear vests with petal poppers.
I notice the report also mentioned the liquids rule. They can ask the mother to taste the infant drinks which I think is disgusting. I find not being able to take a bottle of drinking water really annoying.

After watching Dr. Oz, and him advising people to opt for the pat down instead of the full body scan (because of the radiation it gives out), it really sunk in on how invasive this is. If I were flying, I'd opt for the pat down. I mean, the last thing I need is to put my health in even more trouble. I totally get why they are doing it. But I think if terrorists are going to strike on a plane, these measures aren't going to work. I really am glad I won't be flying soon. I don't want some stranger touching me.

I try to see things from both sides. I understand the seriousness of the terrorist encounter. That has thrown all of the government off its axis. It has also caused Americans to be but in a very bad situation with the airport scans and so forth. It makes us understand how precarious it all is. There was a very good video posted on a posting about scanning afew days ago. A guy walking through the airport (Detroit I believe) and asking TSA? agent questions. How he was treated. They have a job to do and I hope it doesn't go much further. I don't want to live in a police state!
