Rejected again.

This year, I was accepted to 6 different art shows and was able to participate in them but was rejected by 2 others. I attempted this final one for the last for this year, and got rejected. I'm proud I made it to the other 6 but it still is painful when you get rejected to one. I'm feeling pretty depressed and wonder why I didn't make the cut. Have you been rejected this year? What was it for and how did you feel?

Oh I'm sorry, that has to stink to be rejected for something you worked so hard on. I haven't been rejected this year, but that is because I am afraid to submit a story I wrote. Good thing I waited too, because I decided to take some classes and can see my story, though the storyline is excellent, it has some problems and I know it would have been rejected quickly if I did. I hope to submit it sometime in the next few months, so I may feel the way you are by this time next year..

Aww, thank you Lore, for the BR and encouragement. After I get past my math test, I am going back to my "baby" and work on her some more..:)

Wow! You know really to be accepted for 6 shows and only rejected by 2 is not bad odds! That's like 75% acceptance which is good in any market! If it was the other way around I would be depressed - pick your chin up -- look at it positively. It will help you get through life much easier!

Yeah, I know. But they were good pieces and I put a lot of thought, energy, time, and love in it. I think it deserves some grievance for a day.

I was rejected one too many times. Not this year though. The first few tries i've had applying in a call center, i've been in some streak getting rejected. At first it messed up my mind. Was thinking what went wrong and all but i eventually got used to it.

im glad i havent been rejected this year. i was able to be a volunteer nurse to the hospital i applied and also worked as a company nurse in the company i applied. anyway, if i were you i will be happy. please dont mind much the rejection. it's only 2 and you were accepted by 6. cheer up and be proud. =)
