a flash mob is where a group of random people do something unexpected things like get up and sing, dance or have a pillow fight.
here, in a mall near me is a flash mob performing THe Hallelujah Chorus. merry Christmas!

Personally I cannot imagine getting up the nerve to ever consider doing something so impromptu like this. I know it takes a lot of Guts and will power to do something like this, but would definately help draw more people together for sure if even for just a moment. Honestly I am not sure what I would think if I was ever with someone who would consider doing something like this, but personally if it could help change a life or thought or two, it would be worth it for sure.

cher...oh cher, TOOOO much fun..LOL!! I am afraid, right now...if something spontaneous broke out like this, in B.C., right now...it would be to run all the Liberal Politicians into the Pacific Ocean...and I think the only thing that would hold the "good citizens" back from creating this mass exodus...we wouldn't want to contaminate the Pacific with all that sh$t...after all we do eat fish out of those waters. There's already enough contamination there! Thanks for sharing...Cheers!
I see NOW, you are getting some of our weather...boyo..boyo...have we been hit hard, broke ALL records for cold and snow!

I heard about that this morning on the news. But to answer your question, no I have never seen up close or been involved in a flash mob. But quite honestly, I would really love to be part of one whether I started it or just took part. But I think if I tried getting one going, it wouldn't be very successful lol.

I do not like to join in a gang and make some useless stuff.
But i can join in a group, when i gonna join means it should have a purpose.
I can make it a healthy meeting.
I only concentrate on career development matters to discuss with friends in the college.

I thought that was really neat. I don't have the talent to pull something like that off, but my wife is a really good singer, she thinks it would be really cool to pull off something like that and see if people join in. We did manage to get some people singing I Have Friends in Low Places at a bar once. We pretty much had everyone in there singing it. I don't know if that counts though.

Not me, but my sister does that all the time! She doesn't work right now, and her boyfriend can support them . . . she does a bunch of crazy things with her time - ha ha! She goes to mostly dance events - like those Thriller ones - and we get to see all kinds of photos of her on Facebook - ha ha. Maybe if I were younger and had no family/kids, I'd get into it . . . but now I have priorities - ha ha!!

I once saw a very popular guy in high school getting mobbed by some other high school kids with punches and kicks. I was sitting near the cafeteria when the popular guy was coming in. Then a few guys flocked on him and started punching. Even the guy sitting next to my table stood up and went to mobbed and also started kicking.
It wasn't as entertaining as the people singing on the video, but it was also unexpected.
