Sergio Ramos - a player who doesn't know to loose!

I think that this type of players have nothing to do with football, after seeing what he did last night. And I am not really talking about the tackle against Messi, as for pushing his national team colleagues Puyol and Xavi in the face. How can a player do such a thing against the players which helped Spain and him as well to win the Euro and World Cup and knowing each other for years? What do you think? What does Sergio Ramos deserve? In case you haven't seen it, here is it for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBVQUvH-VSk

When Sergio Ramos plays with Spain National Team, he works together with Puyol and Xavi, but it is different when it is in club. that`s professionalism. Gerrard and JT unite when they play for England, but when JT plays with chelsea and Gerrard`s back to Liverpool, they may tackle each other. Yes, the game is hard, and we see players who unite in Spain National team when they won Euro and World Cup, they become enemy in el clasico. I agree, despite being professional when playing with his own club, what Sergio Ramos did to Xavi and Puyol can`t be tolerated. He was sent off for wasting time when playing against Ajax, and he had no problems about it. maybe, for Barca fans, Ramos and CR are the most hated players now LOL

You are right it is different, but a foul is different from pushing your opponents in the face. Professionalism requires for you to sacrifice for your team, not to act like he did against two of his national team colleagues. It is nothing to blame about tackling your opponent, but what he did is unacceptable and he has to suffer the consequences.

I believe Sergio Ramos unprofessional behaviour should be punished in some other way apart from the suspension generated by the red card. I know that derbies always generate this kind of "heated" enviroment but a player of Ramos stature should be able to cope with the impotence created by such a heavy loss. Now it would be interesting to know how they will react when Vicente Del Bosque calls them for international matches... Many people say what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch, let hope this is the case as well.

That is disgraceful. Lucky for Messi that another real madrid player took the impact of the wild kick. Else the injury will be worse. As if not bad enough, the shoves on Puyol and Xavi is totally uncalled for. He should be punish for it. I would love to see his appearing in the national team.

Totally agree with you. I can understand that he had something against Messi, because they are not necessary friends, but doing that to his national team colleagues, is disgraceful. I would ban him from the national team, from respect to Xavi and Iniesta, because these two players are more important to Spain than Sergio Ramos. You can find many defenders like Ramos in the world, but midfielders like Iniesta and Xavi are very hard to find, if not impossible. I consider this duo the best midfielder duo in the history of football, they have wonderful passes to their teammates. They are not so spectacular, but football is a team sport and not a circus to make different funny movements to humiliate the opponent. I enjoy seeing a great pass more than a spectacular dribbling. As for Sergio Ramos, he is a dirty person, without respect to his colleagues. He deserves the same treatment as well.

This incident was rather funny. Bit, I don't see this incident as a divide in the Spain's National Team. They are playing with each other for years. They are friends. Friends generally fight with each other for silly situations.
