Winter activites

We thought winter was here as well.....but the last 2 days it has been raining, so the snow is now gone....yea. I am like you, carol, I do not like winter....let alone the snow. My husband and I used to ski-doo...a lot....but we don't do that anymore. I don't do any activities outdoors in the winter. I have to kick my a$$ to go to the store in the winter. UGH!

hello carolscash, My winter activities are sledding when I get a chance. i would love to learn to ski. I also like long walks in the woods with snow on the ground looking for tracks and animals etc... and so quite and peaceful and not many people out because it usuaully too cold etc... Having experienced winter for the first time when I went to Australia recently, I count myself fortunate to be living in a tropical climate. I don't think I want to live in a cold country as winter is not only too cold but it is too drying for my skin. But for those who are used to the cold, they will find my country too hot and not to their likings.

I really hate all winter activites lol. When I was a kid I LOVED sledding. I would just anticipate that snow and as soon as it started I would be right out there playing in it for hours. My daughter is like that now. Shes 6 and she loves being out in the snow. My son does to but hes 3 so he cant go outside in the back yard to play by himself. He throws such a fit when we make him come back inside. Its been snowing all day here I hate it! I had an appointment to go to an hour and a half away and I had to reschedule it due to the condition of the roads.

When I was a child I loved sledding. My brother and I were always excited when there was snow outside and he had fun playing in the snow. We also built snowmen and had snowball fights. There was a lake pretty close to the place where we lived and sometimes we went ice skating there, I loved that as well and I guess that ice skating and sledding were my favourite winter activities when I was a child. Now I usually prefer to spend the time inside instead, because it is so cold outside. When I go outside I wear a big coat, a scarf, a warm hat and gloves, but it is still cold...

Hmm...this is a nice one. Well me and a few friends of mine usually rent a weekend house near a ski center on a mounthain near by.We stay there for a few days go for walks, ski a lot and have lots of fun!

Too bad we don't have winter in the Philippines, but if we do, I'd love sledding and ice skating! I would love to ski if I know how and I think I would enjoy it very much!

I have not a winter activity as where i live, there is no snow falling. However, i would like to play on snow. Like you, i don't like winter season because i have to wear a lot of clothes over the body that makes me uncomfortable.
