Finally, my cat has a name :)

Well as they said, Peggy is really a cute name for a cat. Well here in our place we call our pets sometimes by their color or their attitude. Black dogs are often called "Blacky" and guard dogs are called "Bantay" the dialect for guard. If ever I'll get a cat I'll name it "Miming"

Hahaha. I think that's cute. I think it is fun picking out names for pets. I also think it is important to pick a name that suits them not just one that sounds cute. I like that, I like that there is a story behind it and you gave it thought. Good for you for rescuing the kitty. =)

I'm getting 2 new kittens in a couple weeks when they're old enough to leave their momma. I decided I'm going to call them Twilight and Eclipse. Unfortunately Eclipse looks more like a Bear.. but I was really liking the names I picked out, so he's stuck with Eclipse!

Yes, of course Peggie is a sweet name. You Peggie remember me my Jerry which lost nine months ago. I was aways jelous on Jerry. Because it is always lazy as you told. eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping. Imagine if we get a life like that.

Yeah I think Peggy is kinda cute. I could imagine how she stares at the television. Kittens are really cute and fun to play with especially when you make them follow a string, a ball or anything. They're such an affectionate creatures that you cant help but be attached to them. Lucky for the kitten cause she's got you. :)

hi yes stand I think Peggy is a great name for your cat. do not name her Patsie as everyone will then call her Peggy. Iknow cause my first name is Patsie and sol many Call me Peggy by mistake. sob cry. Anyway Patsie is an awful name for cats or people.

No, I don't care for the name Peggy much. But if that is to your liking then its fine for you. I didn't care much for you analogy on Married With Children either. I think the guy on there was a total jerk and he treated her with no respect whatsoever. I like that you atleast named the cat after her and not him.

I like the name Peggy. I used to have a cat named Annie. I named her after Little Orphan Annie because she was a stray. She loved watching Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show!!! No matter where she was, when the Tonight Show theme song came on, she'd come running to the TV. Johnny was very animated & she was always trying to catch his hands. She used to pat his face a lot too. I sometimes wondered if it was because she liked him so much??? She also liked to watch NASCAR races too. As the cars rounded the track & ran off the right side of the screen, she'd try & catch them before they got away!!! When her claws came up empty, she'd turn & look at me so funny. I could hear her thinking "I just knew I had that one!!!"

Yes definitely! Peggy sounds more human and that's right, treat her like a human and your relationship with her will become better and better! I love the name. It's cute for a cat!!!

What a cute name, specially for a stray cat.Its good you gave her a shelter because mostly wondering cats are prone to danger if they are on the streets.Actually I prefer dogs as pet any way it's good for Peggy you found her.

You love cat very much when you adopt her from the street. I think Peggie is the good name for her. I also love cat, I have 2 cat at home, they are so lovely but I have not named them. I often play with them, it's very funny!

that's great finding a good name for your cat is awesome i think... well i am also a cat lover. Needless to say, I name my cat pinky.. She is not pink just love to call her by that name....suits her.
