Do you listen to music that's from another country or that's another language?

Quite obviously every country and language has its own different music. Today with the internet it's quite easy to find music from other countries and in languages different from your own. Despite being American, I don't listen to any American music at all and really only listen to Japanese music. What about everyone else? Do you listen to music that's from a foreign country or not in your native language?

Yes, I like foreign music as well. I like some Japanese, Mexican, and French music. But I'm open to any other good ones too.

I listen to Korean pop music all the time. The ones I listen to most are love songs, seldom upbeat songs. Well, it's good to listen to songs from other country as it really ups our quality of life, that's what I think.

I've listened to a little bit of Korean pop music as well, and liked the group SNSD quite a bit. I think I prefer Japanese idols to Korean idols overall but they're both still good.

I also enjoy listening to foreign music. Nowadays, I actually prefer listening to it over the current American music. I started off listening to Japanese music, mainly through watching all those different anime series. I branched out to Korean music after that since my brother was a fan. And then it was only time until I started listening to other Asian music like Chinese and Thai.

I listen to French music from Keren Ann sometimes. My brother introduced me to her and I like her voice. I think it's better that I do not understand what she is singing about because it could be something stupid. My friend who understands French came over one time and I was listening to her and she could not stop laughing.

My husband likes to listen to music from other countries more so than do I. Some of the bands he listens to did release music in the US, but didn't hit it big or even small. Some of it is really awesome! The only music I listen to in a different language is an album that has both English and Spanish versions of the same songs. Some of the Spanish ones are catchier than the English versions. I am getting pretty good at singing some of them in Spanish with Enrique!

I've been listening to foreign music ever since I was born. As a growing girl, I enjoyed listening to Japanese music until I reached my teen years. I also like English music, just some songs. And then I discovered Korean music and Chinese music. And then I became addicted to English pop music. And then I discovered American 50's and 60's classic music. Now, I'm addicted to 70's and 80's American music.

I like listening to music and songs very much. I keep a collection of CDs of the songs. I am always fascinated by the culture and the songs of countries around the world. When I travel overseas on my business trips, I often buy CDs of songs of the countries. I have a number of CDs now of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Indian songs. Very beautiful and enchanting !

Hi, Rodanmaster! I do listen to foreign music, too. I like Arabic, Korean, and any English music. As long as it has a catchy tune and I understand the lyrics! And of course, I love listening to my own country's music. I'm from the Philippines and we love singing (even if some of us don't have that good voice for singing! Haha!)

I like listening to music in my native language, but I also like music from other countries, only if it is good to the ear.Even though I don't understand the words, I like to hear the melody and the singer's voice, which I think is more important to the music.
