How many times have you been on the plane? Where did you go and how long was the flight?
I've probably been on the plane at least 10 times in my life now. My longest flight has to be Japan, 12 hours straight, agh. You?

I have been traveling by plane since 2001 may it be a local or international destination. But for now, I only have been traveling within the region. So my longest flight up to now is just 4 hours. Hopefully this year, I could try an eight hour fly to the middle East perhaps.

I would say Dubai or Doha. I have many friends in those cities. I wish to visit them and at the same time tour the place.

I love planes and travelling but I don't take planes a lot. My most recent one was to Hong Kong, roughly 3 hours. I would love to go on the planes for as much as I can.

In 2010 I went on a return flight lasting 12 hours from London to Vancouver with my 3 year disabled son and 11 month old daughter. My baby girl turned one year old whilst we were in Canada. In 2009 I had a 5 hour delay due fog and then a 12 hour flight from London to Cape Town when I was pregnant. My son and I were pleased not to have a delay on the homeward journey. It felt less tiring than the long haul flights that go through many time zones. In 2008 I took a low cost airline on a return flight from Bristol to Riga which is in Latvia with my son. When my son was a baby I took him on a return flight from Bristol to Faro in Portugal. Those European flights were just two and half hours long.
I would say I have been on countless plane journeys since 1987 when I flew from London to Athens return and that was a flight of 3 and a half hours. I like to do stopovers on long trips right across the other side of the world. My around the world trip I did when I was 20 years old. My route was London-Los Angeles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide overland to Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-London. When I was 29 years old I went on another long trip that time a return flight to New Zealand for just £800. My route was London-Los Angeles-French Polynesia-Cook Islands-Auckland-Christchurch overland to Auckland-Samoa-Los Angeles-London. The longest flights I have been on have been 14 hours: Singapore to London and London to Hong Kong.

I have been on a plane many, many times and do enjoy air travel, for the most part. However, those long flights get a bit tiresome, especially in coach class! My longest flights have been to the Philippines (2x) from NYC, with a stop-over in Japan. The flight is almost 24 hours--VERY long, especially when traveling with children!
I have flown to Brazil, too, which is also a long flight, but at least it was direct. We are hoping to go to China in 2 years, which will also be a marathon.

I often travel because of my job although I hate traveling on planes... security checks, everything's expensive at airports, nothing to do in airports, too much waiting time, disgusting food aboard the plane... I prefer traveling by car or boat... but to answer your questions, I travel by plane around 10/12 times a year, usually long distance flights with transfers...

I do travel a lot by plane on my business trips, trans-pacifc, trans-atlantic, trans-continental, and I have taken different airlines on those trips. The longest flight I had taken was from Vancouver to Hong Kong, 14 hours, non-stop trans-pacific. It was a nice flight, but it was really a very long flight.

I haven't had the chance to travel outside my country,Philippines.:( But when i'm crossing the sea to visit my relatives ,parents and kids especially, in the province I am going by the plane.
However, this is only lately.I used to take the ship and bus but they will require a much longer travel time. But I do enjoy taking the ship and the bus because I can sight seeing. It could only be an inconvenience, though if it is full with passengers.
Going by plane is also costly but I can reach my province, Aklan, in just 45 minutes from Manila of which if I travel by ship or bus will take at least 8-12 hours...
