I just read about a total Lunar Eclipse that will be visible in North America - it is the first one since 2008. It can be seen without optics, but binoculars should work - or a low-power telescope. This will happen some time after midnight - you can check the time here and get more info: http://www.oneminuteastronomer.com/2010/12/03/sky-month-december-2010/ If you are in the right place, why not watch one of the wonders of the Creation? The time is special too, it is Winter Solstice on the Northern Hemisphere and full moon, both at the same time..and yes of course, Summer Solstice on the South side..

Yes, it is a bit tough to stay up after midnight, but this thing will happen again and it may be another time.. I guess I will not see it from where I live either. It will be morning here. Maybe we can see a part of the shadow on the moon..

Hi, Canellita good to see you! Better mark the night in your calender - we see these things very rarely, so it is really something special to remember!!

Hi again, if you remember to look at the moon, it will darken in a few hours!! And 21st will be the darkest day of the year. I heard on TV that it will be visible in Sweden too..

Hi, Hatley, well - life isn´t exactly what we want always. I hope you will see it on TV or who knows if you can watch it from the window.. Just look forward to the day you can live in your own apartment and do what you want.. There will be more fantastic things in the sky in the future.. But maybe you can sneak out very quietly in the night if your roomie is in deep sleep....

YEA! Thanks for reminding me! I would've forgotten about it if you never mentioned! Ok, I'll take note. Anyway, I've not seen any eclipses before. So I hope this will be the chance for me to see it.

the miracle was not a spectacle, but it is a warning to us. whether there is something wrong with it at the scene of the miracle ...?

The great miracles in the sky have been see for thousands of years, and human beings have been able to know when many of them happen, as the creation of God follows its time table. Have a nice day..
