Hi my lotters It's not what you think ,my question is would you go out without putting on makeup, dare to go bare? I have only worn make up a couple of times in my life,I have been working with a woman who only wears lippy if she is feeling happy. I just really never got the hang of putting on make up,I just looked like a demented clown, so I never bothered. I would love to know if you wear make up all the time, or just on special occassions. Hey guys I'm not leaving you out have you ever worn male eye liner, were you a goth wearing makeup,or back in the 80s were you a new romantic ? So would you dare to go bare?

I dare to do it every day. Like you, even when I try I feel like I look off. When I used to go out to bars and what not I would do mascara, lip liner and lipstick. But, that's it. And, I would go with a more natural look. I sometimes wonder if I don't look as mature as other women because the most I'll wear these days is some lip gloss. It's nice to know that other women are going bare on the daily basis too.

I am quite the opsite since I wear makeup I think I look tired or sickly with out it. I think the reason why we both feel different is cause its something we are un use to. Im sure if I went with out and you wore it more often we would get use to it. Kinda like trying a new style outfit. I do however sometimes go bare to give my skin a break. But I wear Mineral make up so its good for my skin anyway if I sleep with it on.

I wear make up all the time, however I will put more effort into it and be a bit more creative with my make up on a special occasion but if I am due to start work at 7am then I just go for the neutral look. I never leave the house without putting my make up on. I look ill without my make up on because I have awful dark circles and my face skin is paler than the rest of my body, which gives a sickly look. It always amused me growing up, as a teenager my Dad would tell me that I didn't need all that make up on because school is not a fashion show. Yet, if he saw me before I had put it on, he would ask if I was okay because I was looking a bit "peaky".

Sure, I go without make up all the time. When I am out working and in the public eye, I will wear makeup. Or even when I am out on a date. I wore make up yesterday, but most of the time I prefer not to wear make up. lol...when I do, my girls always comment..."Mom, are you wearing make up?"

It's usual for me to go out without make up. I like my appearance and it's no problem if people know my face without make up. No reason, i just like what i am like.

when i go out i only put on lip gloss and mascara to enhance my long lashes, but i don't fuss about wearing make up. Not to offend the ladies who do, but i always say if someone tells me 'hey you look beautiful' when i'm bare, i'm more satisfied than if they told me the same thing if i had on. For some women though, it does enhance their looks, even though some cake on the makeup as if it were a mask. I can do without it.

I only wear makeup if i am having to go out, like to a pub or partys.I do not bother other than to put any on, as i do not go any where other than staying at home.My daughters never leave home without make up but they are 18 years old, i use to be just like them when i was younger.I do not think that i could go to a pub or a party without wearing makeup.

I rarely wear makeup, as it's bothersome not only to put in on, but also to remove. I think removing it it's even more annoying, even if putting it on is the time consuming part. However, many of my female friends have the need of always wearing makeup. I don't know how do their really faces look like because they wear makeup 24/7. I think that's crazy and shows a big problem of low self-steem, and that a good balance is better. I'm just lazy, but I think that it's good to care about our appeareance sometimes too.

Sometimes I wear makeup and sometimes I don't. I guess it really just depends on my mood or if I'm not too tired to put it on lol.
