Why do you watch movies?

I watch movies to relax and when I am bored and there is nothing to do, I enjoy a good action movie sometimes and I love Brad Pitt he is an awesome actor!!! But lately there has been no good movies out it seems to me.

I'm not much for watching movies, but when I do it's because I'm too tired mentally to do anything else, but I don't want to go to bed and sleep. Just one of those things. I don't know what people get out of them otherwise.

I think because watching movies have been form of entertainment ever since. If you feel like you wanna watch a movie and regret it afterward, then maybe you were just doing it to keep up with the trend? I don't feel like I have to watch a movie when there's a new movie everyone is talking about. If I know I'll like it, I'll watch it but I have a knack for knowing if I will regret watching the movie.

I'm stuck in the house most days with my baby so I usually watch a lot of movies for entertainment. It helps when I have NOTHING to do.

By movies do you mean movies on like TV or like at the theater? On TV I just do it cause it's entertaining that's like the whole point of TV and why it was invented. At the theater it's a great place to hang out with your friends and you will have something to talk about or if you're going with a girlfriend/boyfriend it's an easy date.

That's a cure for boredom. I could watch a movie from my computer through streaming but I also go to our local movies for relaxation, change of scenery and environment, be with people, the good feeling of inside a movie house, inside a mall, a change of place for a change. And especially eating junk foods inside a movie house.

It has been ages since I last watched a movie. I remember the last movie I watched was a Harry Potter's movie, I don't remember which was it. Nowadays, I just wait for the movie to get broadcast onto TV, then I watch. I actually prefer watching it at the comfort of my own home. Recently, there are 3D movies and it has been incorporated into horror movies too. I wanted to watch it but in the end, I didn't manage to watch. I love horror movies because I love the suspense and the eerie settings, plus giving it a 3D feel will make it more real. But, I still like watching it at home.

I think the guys who like to watch movies taking this as a way to relax. As if someone like sports, someone like shopping. There maybe other reasons like a movie star attract you. I do not watch movies often except the Twilight collection. My boyfriend usually watch movies to relax himself out of the heavy study work cause he is a PhD student. While I like to reduce pressure by sports.

Lately I have been watching a lot of movies, TV shows, etc. that I barely go out of my room. Well sometimes I also think that what I do is a waste of time, that I should be doing more productive things, but then I always end up watching all over again. Sometimes I would even want to start reading books, but in the middle of it I'd prefer to watch again. It's a cycle for me, so I think you could say that I'm a bummer.

I watch movies to unwind from a tiring work. To entertain myself when I am feeling down. And most of the movies that I have watched, they have good moral lessons. And aside from the lessons, I learned new things.

It really depends on a person's trip but of course usually they want to watch it because they are curious especially when they are attracted to the trailer.

i watch movies bcs i like it^^ i like to watch when i see that some story seems interesting or cool^^ that distracts me and makes me happy^^ i like to watch movies and i dont think is boring at all. for me movies is something really cool that let me feel distracted and happy^^ i love movies even more if are romantic or horror stories^^

I am a student and most of the time i am stressed by my assignments,research,projects and mostly exams. Sometimes there are time that we have time that there are no things i mean problems that bothers in my mind.. So at that moment most of my friends decide to watch movies as a reliever for our stress..and of course not always..because watching movie is not free..haha lol

i watch a movie about once a month usually when there is nothing on tv or i am really bored. or when i am hanging out with friends

actually, i dont watch movie every day. sometimes i use to watch movie if im bored and nothing can do for fun, and sometimes i want to watch coz i like the actors and actresses or i can relate to that movies. sometimes is to reduce my stress.

I'll see film for entertainment,to get some free time and boredom is not

i don't know why others watch movies but i watch to kill time..
