What do you watch more, cable TV or broadcast TV?

I have found over the years that I'm watching more cable TV with time. I still watch broadcast TV but it seems that there are more original or novel shows on cable than there are on broadcast TV. Some of the better shows on broadcast TV get cancelled too soon whereas cable seems to give them more time to develop. I wonder is shows like Monk, Psych, Sanctuary, the Stargate shows, or Leverage would ever make it on broadcast TV. Then there are shows like Sons of Anarchy, the Walking Dead, or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia that would be either to risque or risky for broadcast TV. What do you watch and what do you think?

I prefer cable where there are more shows that have kept my interest for many years. I was a huge Monk Fan. I'm a Burn Notice watcher and think its one of the few shows we get to see the mother get some real lines. I wish they would have her stop smoking on the show, as the actress has quit smoking.

She is smoking on the show. I think she will end up smoking off the show also. I wish USA Network would give her some other way to show toughness to her character.

I watch more cable, I like the History Channel, History International, Discovery, HGTV, I like archeology, history, nature - things like that more than episodes I have to watch for plot development... tho I got into Royal Pains...

I have gotten into some of the shows on the History Channel like Revolution or the Presidents. Plus there are some quirky shows like Ice Road Truckers or UFO Hunters. I got into Royal Pains because I often have USA on. That got me into NCIS and House by seeing rerun marathons but I also like Burn Notice and Psych.

I watched Burn Notice, but I didn't find any one I liked much, except maybe "mom". Royal Pains didn't have my usual type show/guys I like either, but I really like Hank and Divya tho the Evan/Divya give and take is fun to watch. Don't really like things like Deadliest Catch or Ice Road Truckers

Here most familes have cable TV at home. As cable TV provides us a lot of TV channels. I wonder whether there will be some people who don't have cable TV. The braodcast TV is not popular here. I love China

I don't get any cable channels since my I only have the minimum basic cable service and I only have that as cable because it is cheaper to have it with my cable Internet then to have the cable Internet by itself. I have plenty of shows to watch on the broadcast networks. The main thing I want to see that I can't would be tennis on espn-2 but hopefully I can watch that on the Internet. I want to watch Mad Men(I think that is the name) because Peyton List is supposed to be in it and I like her but those would be the only reasons.

I would prefer cable TV over Broadcast TV as it is much faster and I love watching it.
